Or early Opeth albums

Great sleeping tracks
You're right, but IMO Damnation is even better from Opeth when it comes to sleeping tracks.

Whole Opeth is amazing anyway.
True, but that goes without saying. But personally, I find earlier Opeth much more entrancing and as such, better sleep music. Older Opeth is better in general also

Something tranquil and acoustic like Jose Gonzalez or Nick Drake, I actually play this before I go to sleep quite often:

Actually, almost any song on the first disc of that album will work. Maybe not Liberty Bell.

I usually go with classical music, preferably some Vivaldi. It's very calming and it helps relax me if I am stressed out.

Used to play music when falling asleep but don't anymore, usually went with mellow stuff: Dido, Andy Stochansky, Verve, Sarah Blasko

For more recent stuff, The XX sounds like a good idea, maybe Bon Iver, Josh Pyke.

Probably the Hummer by Devin Townsend, or something equally ambient. Any real music will just keep me up, it has to be really minimalist ambient noises.

"Life is on you" from the Devil May Cry anime. I find it incredibally relaxing even if it is kind of short. just put it on loop on a low volume and let it carry me off.

I'd go for Bohren & der Club of Gore's Sunset Mission or Angelo Badalamenti's soundtrack from Twin Peaks.
Alternatively, I'd go for some death metal. Not very soothing, but I easily fall asleep to car engines and vacuum cleaners, and metal's the next best thing.
