I'm enjoying the new Nightwish album, Amaranth has to be one of the greatest singles I've ever heard

Some rave/techno/electronic stuff. I can't find many goods songs to. Does anyone have some recommendations along the lines of Confusion (blade remix) and 1000 Cigarettes.

In Flames, now and for ever!
This, I've yet to buy another one of their albums so thanks for reminding me. The only one I have is Come Clarity.

Also I bought The Best of R.E.M 1988-2003 on iTunes the other day. Bargain at £5, and also has some excellent songs on there. Man on the Moon, The Great Beyond and Everybody Hurts, among my all-time favourite songs

I've been listening to some Edguy and more Megadeth then I usually do. For the most part I've been getting into a lot of European metal bands like Edguy, Sonata Arctica, and Rhapsody of Fire.

But I always leave room for my favorites like System of a Down, Dream Theater, Symphony X, and Disturbed.

I'm digging Peter Tagtgren's hardcore, ultra-loud industrial and dance metal; the assorted techno and rock of the Need for Speed III soundtrack; and Ralph Vaughan Williams' mellow, buttoned-down orchestral and vocal music.

Yeah! I discovered them a few months ago and I got there C.D. and they are sweet, I can't wait for them to release another!

Personaly I've been listening to EELS (as usual) but even more so now that he got a new C.D. comin out pretty soon.

Oh and The Show Must Go On by Leo Sayer. I've been listening to that song alot lately to.

I'm really digging Nellie McKay [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6q6HKiF83aI] and Regina Spektor. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzrC72Xv6pE] Stuff like that. Also I'm getting really into HORSE the Band [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=um7zrF4Bi8E] right now. My musical taste is a bit eclectic.

I commend your taste! Have you checked out Avantasia? (it's a metal opera project by Edguy's lead singer) and Gamma ray are an awesome European Power Metal band too.

Recently I've really gotten into Sabaton:
