By the way, any suggestions besides the obvious Ruger 10/22?
Try a Marlin Model 60. I have one myself. They're damn near indestructible and they've been making them since 1960 so you should be able to find a used one really cheap. It's very comparable to the Ruger 10/22. Tons of good aftermarket scopes/stocks/etc for it too.

OT:

No! Wait! Sctratch that.. No Cheese.
Cool! I, for some reason, have a couple of really cheap scopes that are intended for air guns and rifles. Been wanting something I can stick them on.

You're making me drool all over my keyboard! I have just written a post about how I am going to eat fish today (cheap fish that isn't tasty rather than salmon) and vegetables so I can't have pizza today. Now you make me want pizza, but I can't because that would make that post a lie and no-one ever lies on the internet.

OT: I want thisssss thing so bad:
I can use it to charge my DS while I'm out and about. Most awesome thing EVER.

Edit: Yeah... I bought it about 15 minutes after posting this...

ok guys post some stuff that you absolutely must have right this moment.

for me i'm afraid i'm gonna have to go out and get me one of these

not only is it one of my favorite anime of all time but it is also a near perfect rendering of one of the best scenes in the series.
I'll bite. who is she, whats she from, what scene is it, and why is it the best scene? out of curiousity.

When pokemon black and white comes out, Im getting that for sure.

<spoiler=OT: while not a must have, I wouldnt mind having one of these>http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-viMsES-Beog/TbrL1HNk4GI/AAAAAAAABwg/xgVnTkz-Lzc/s1600/3c_31wDBbgUgML.jpg

he's my favorite video game protagonist from my favorite game.

THough Id love that jacket. If I had one like it, Id always dress formal just to wear it.

maudlin of the Well Box Set. I know I shouldn't, but if the remaining copies sell out then I may not get this chance again. >.<

I really want Deadly premonition: The directors cut for the PS3, but I have to wait until the 26 April, but it will be worth it as it is one of my favourite games of all time.

I just did it, about an hour ago.

Recently I have no time for big grand PC games and what I have been playing are smaller games likes Super Meat Boy and Cave Story. I also always wanted to try gaming with controller and this looks like best time to start.

My main justification however is that if I'm gonna make games, I want them to have controller support and for that I need a controller. While 37? may look like a lot for a controller, I have never saved money on peripheral controls because unlike other PC hardware their quality lasts quite a long time.

Interesting looking controller. Not sure if I like the Dual shock stick positioning on what otherwise looks like a 360 pad.

Also, is that D-Pad better than it looks, because that's the one big problem with the MS 360 gamepad.

I don't have any experience of my own with controllers to judge it by but reviews I read praised it rather highly.
