This is a QQ thread but I must vent - and since the Bethesda forums are down I'm going to do it here!
Can't rage enough at how Skyrim unlocked just 60 minutes ago... a full 25 HOURS!! after 11/11/11... this pretty much means if you live in SEA, you only get to start playing AFTER everyone else.
So I get to sit here and twiddle my thumbs and wait for Skyrim's update to become unstuck at 96% (45 minutes in so far) while:
1.) friends overseas have started playing hours ago despite 11/11/11 having come to a close locally.
2.) other friends who had chosen to pirate it are already 12 hours into the game.
Really... this release model encourages people to get the game illegitimately.

I took the day off today just to play Skyrim today, a pretty big deal since I'm saving up my leave days for a vacation next year... and I spent my entire day NOT PLAYING Skyrim despite having picked up the physical copy from the store yesterday afternoon and despite the promised release date of 11.11.11 advertised locally!
Bethesda, if you're reading this I want you to know that you've !@$@ed me up the !@$!!! I hate going into a new highly anticipated game angry and bitter, but it seems this is how it's going to have to be. I've wasted a rare day of leave because of your god damned release schedule which I'm never getting back AND the %#@@#%% update has been stuck at 96% for almost an hour already!!
