Hey all; what are your 'must have' mods? Everyone list a couple.

The first one that pops into my head is the duct tape mod for Doom 3. It's hard to believe that the game needs this, but it really does make up for such a silly design choice.

While not a specific mod pretty much any inventory mod for Fallout 3 / New Vegas. Having your items catagorized so you can quickly vendor junk makes things so much faster; no longer to I have to scratch my head wondering 'is this useful in someway?'.

EDIT: Also, I remember reading on these forums that there was a 'must have' mod for STALKER. I just picked it up on Steam so I'm wondering if anyone could toss some suggestions my way.

Maybe it was oblivion lost (think its called that). Don't have the mod personally but it upgrades alot of stuff in the game to give a more uneasy and spooky atmosphere.

Whenever i wanted to find mods during my playthrough i browsed on
http://stalker.filefront.com/

Even if you dont find the must have mod you were looking for, im pretty sure you will find something which will spark interest.

If you want a "vanilla" playthrough of the game then the STALKER complete mod [http://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-complete-2009] is a must. It doesn't really add much, it just makes the things that are in the game much better.

OT:As for must have mods, nearly all mods that are available for Oblivion. That game is pretty much made to be played with mods.

Must have mod- Dwarf Fortress full graphics pack of some description. If you haven't played Dwarf Fortress I suggest you go to the wiki, download it, read the start guide, get a graphics pack and try it out. If you can't understand it still, go to captnduck's video tutorials and look for one with any specific problem you might have and try out playing it a few times. It is most certainly not a game for everyone but will take you in if you are willing to learn it's mysterious ways.

Shit, my post got a bit off the topic there but mainly graphics packs are vital to Dwarf Fortress' enjoyment making them more so "Must have" than other more outrageous fun mods.

Companion mod for "Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines". Literally a must have, in that the game won't bugs out at a certain point without it.

Metaphorically a must have, cause having a pair of hangers on to help with fighting monsters is awesome, even if they get in the way and have rubbish AI. Wish you could give them proper orders. It's a bit crude, but still worth it.
