I got a 360 for Christmas. I plan on picking up the Orange Box and BioShock, borrowing Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect from a friend, and possibly downloading Braid. What other 360 games do you recommend I try out?
Definitly. Don't borrow Mass Effect. Buy it. You'll thank me.RebelRising said:Mass Effect and Orange Box and Call of Duty, without a doubt.
You can get Psychonauts for free on Gametap, that's preferable.SomeBritishDude said:You've pretty much got most of the essentials. Also, if you havn't played Psychonauts yet you can download it on xbox live. I just finished it. Its incredible.
Call of Duty 4 is a must too, really great game. I warn you about the orange box, if you've got a decent PC, get it that instead, Team Fortress 2's has the most incredible lag I have ever, ever experienced on the 360.
Also, Left 4 Dead is must, great game.
Psychonauts is another great game I have on Xbox. Regardless of how or where you get it, it's a breath of fresh air.orannis62 said:Definitly. Don't borrow Mass Effect. Buy it. Its weird, TF2 is fine on my 360, but has horrible lag on my PC.
L4D is, indeed, a must.
I'd say I'm more of an RPG/adventure fan than I am an FPS fan. That said, I enjoyed the story in Halo 1 & 2, and the premise of Gears of War seems interesting.not a zaar said:Um, what kind of games do you like? The point of my comment was that its totally free on gametap, as opposed to costing money on the 360.RebelRising said:Psychonauts is another great game I have on Xbox. Regardless of how or where you get it, it's a breath of fresh air.
I would recommend Oblivion too, even with its flaws. Oh! And Mirror's Edge; it's fabulous, fluid game as well.
Hmm, if you like RPGs and adventures then you may have made a mistake in buying Microsoft's Magical FPS Machine. I would have gone with a Wii, Nintendo has always been big on adventure games (Zelda, Metroid, etc...)BlueInkAlchemist said:I'd say I'm more of an RPG/adventure fan than I am an FPS fan.
