MW2 and guns?

I have noticed that MW2 has decided to go into the obscure in terms of weapons. In particular the sniper rifles. So my question is are we going to see a replica of the BFG in the next modern warfare game?

I personally was saddened to see out of all the Sniper Rifles, they kept the height of faggotry, the Barrett in the game. Shitty auto snipers suck :3 Although Intervention, nomnomnom. It even has a cool name.

As far as weapons go, some are pretty obscure. the L86 for example, only other game ive seen it in is S.T.A.L.K.E.R and from a mod.

I miss the "classic" Mp5 from the last one, though, the provision of the FAL makes up for it... Although technically its an L1A1 since its semi-auto only...

Well why stick with the guns that always get into shooters? That's just boring. There are plenty of guns in the world, so why not make use of some of the less known ones to push the boat out a little bit?

I must agree that the weapons of Mewtwo are incredibly obscure. I've never heard of at least half of the weapons. Although, it's cool to see what they do.
