MW2 Biggest Epic Fail Ever!!!

What's the biggest fail you've done so far in Modern Warfare 2?
Mine would be jumping down to the corridor in Skidrow and mis-judging how many people were inside. As soon as I landed I had 6 of them shooting at me, didn't even get 1 of them...

Well, trying to throw a grenade through a door, it hitting the side of the door rebounding, killing me and a team mate.

Yeah gluing semtex to the back of my team mates helmet, because he heard beeping he ran back into the room and killed us all. I suck at MW2!

I have definitely cooked a grenade, tried throwing it over a wall into a room, but only hit the top of the wall so it bounce back just in time to kill me.

Nothing makes you feel quite as dumb as a self pwn

I planted a claymore, and waited near it to try and get the challenge for shooting claymores for kills. An enemy came by, and I forgot that I was using the claymore, so I shot at him, and put him in final stand. Because he also has scrambler pro, my claymore took longer to detonate, and when I went up to the door to execute him, my claymore went off and killed me; he had scooted out of the doorway and was unharmed.

I've said this before on the "Most Epic Kill" thread.

I was on Afgan (MW2 of course), the game JUST started, and i threw a throwing knife in the general direction of the enemy spawn. I maraculasly get a kill.

Now about 5 minutes later i know where the enemy is spawning, so i throw a knife at them.

So just as i do a Harrier rapes and pillages my face off, screwing up my aim and making my knife go lower then i wanted it to.

I then instantly hit the respawn button, and guess what, i got hit, with a throwing knife, MY throwing knife.

What happend was i spawned, well, right in the way of my shit throw, so my spawn got me raped.

Needlessto say, i was laughing.

Well, as something that was a bit of a fail, I called in a Chopper Gunner and got one kill with it. That was sort of annoying.

That is awesome!! Lololol. Well I was 23 and 0 on scrap yard and I decided to hide for the last 10secs and someone comes in the room and i miss my last AA12 shot and I get killed a milisecond before the end.

Planted a claymore at the same time an enemy ran past me, setting it off, killing me and leaving him unscathed.

The very worst? Some douche was camping my team's spawn points with a knife (it was the map where you are on a Skyscraper) and in trying to kill him, I go careening out of a window because I started backing up when he started to run at me. It was, fittingly enough, one of the windows that leads to city streets, tens of stories below.

well, my personal one. we were on Rust in a private match playing Cops and Robbers. 2 on 2. i tried to ninja knife a guy as a robber, his buddy shot me in mid jump and it looked like the picture of a Direct Impact. and i flew.

another cops and robbers game on Scrapyard, i was a robber. this was 4 on 4. i was on the ground. a buddy started shooting at them for me, cuz there were 3 on me, and it was him and me left. he died for me and shouted "6:30!!!" so i stood, ran in a huge circle to my 6:30, stabbed him, then ran around the crane thingy, and stabbed the other two in the back while they were wondering where the hell i went.


and the last one, which i personally love.

all 6 of us were in a group on Hardcore Team DeathMatch, a guy shot one of us in the leg ((all of us had Final Stand)) so we all turned and emptied a clip each into the building. ((if you've ever seen Full Metal Jacket, it's like the part where they are on the patrol and stop outside of the town pretty early on after Joker meets up with Cowboy.))

the guy died after about 3 shots, but we had to be sure nobody else messed with us. well...shortly after, we all got owned by a Semtex on the guy who was downed...

The dumbest thing I have ever done in MW2 has to have been in Highrise. Bear in mind this after a good few weeks of play so am quite familiar with the layout of the level. I am inside one of the buildings facing towards one of the side windows. Despite knowing fine well that leaping out that window will cause me to fall to my death, something nonetheless posesses me to smash the window open and jump right out.

I felt rather stupid right there.

My most common mistake tends to be lobbing a flash grenade and running straight into the blast. Kind of defeats the purpose, blinding both yourself and your opponent. Only once have I successfully used one of those grenades.
