MW2 DLC is broken

Well, I don't know about everyone else - but my standard MW2, no DLC seems to be just about working now.
Well...about 60-ish %.It loads multiplayer. It let me play 3 rounds on subpens. Then...it declared that my internet connection didn't exist anymore. Its let me back into a few more games, but it keeps cycling through the whole spiel of "play - connection error - boot"

Back to Bad Company for me!

I'm not sure if I can be bothered to buy the DLC. Do I really want to waste my first ever MS points on this?

Just played a couple of private games with buddies.

Private games work fine.

New maps are really good.

I have been playing god of war 3 all day so thats pretty hard to do.

I love how the people crazy enough to pay that amount of money get maps then don't work.

Thats the kind of stuff that usually happens to me, it's nice to be on the other side of it.

Latest news:

A second MW2 update that is meant to make matchmaking better has ended up preventing players from getting into any games at certain times.

This happens because it stops you entering any game that has more than 50 ping.

It's all fun and games with MW2 today!

I saw how pathetically small the DLC was for the price and left it on the market place, Not surprised it broke. Cmon 329 mb for 15 dollars what a rip off.

It took a while but its running properly now and the new maps are really fun. Played private and public games with no further problems. Certainly enjoying these maps more compared to the MW1 DLC.

It's just like a massive content patch release in World of Warcraft. You won't be able to play first day properly because all the people coming in, the unforeseen bugs, etc etc.

Only difference is, one is a MMORPG, and the other is a FPS. Still outrageously large numbers playing both, so i am actually not surprised that this happened.

Too much disconnecting in Modern Warfare 2 for me to enjoy any of the new maps.
