That's the least general thing ever. Everyone will have a slightly different opinion on this. I for example, haven't played it yet, so it isn't stale to me.

Yeah, I'm with The NamlessGuy on this one, it was stale long before it ever hit shelves and everyone making threads like this should be thankful that punching people via the internet is just a personal fantasy. Because if I could make them stop doing that via vigorous application of punching to the facial structure, I totally would (also my knuckles would probably be very sore).
Seriously, I will rejoice the instant the Internet collectively decides to shut the hell up about MW2 already, grah!.

Well i knew it would get old pritty quickly, only now many my freinds are notecing it's stalenes. Even ppl who are big fans of it are sayin' it's getting boreing.
It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for all the glitches, the horrible connection, the nuke, and pretty much everything in it.
But yes, it's very stale. I was one of the biggest MW2 fanboys before it came out, and now, I can't stand it.

It lost its appeal after one playthrough of the story, spec ops was done to quickly with a friend and when you've played one COD multiplayer you've cracked them all open with an Intervention shot through an enemy forehead. Or nuclear bomb...
Infinity Ward may have made the 'best game evar' according to people before release but it was just over too fast. Sure it was epic, but that aura the game had is gone during the veteran run or cleaning up on intel finding.
