Has anyone noticed any little tweaks that you think should be made to the game in a patch or update? I'm talking about small adjustments, not like "Take that gun out!"

personally, i think the Vector SMG needs some power added. it fires the same round as the UMP and has half the power. wtf? i play hardcore, and have to headshot someone twice to kill them. i think there might be a problem there.

what do you think?

8-inch barrel versus a 5.5-inch barrel may well have something to do with that.

As for changes, the reload animation for the 1887 needs to show the cartridges being put into the magazine tube instead of the barrel.

umm, it really pisses me off when im sitting back with a sniper, hitting my target in the chest or neck, and not having them die even tho the damage bar is 100% full (intervention+FMJ+ whatever the perk is that increases damage).

you dont know how many kills I have been robbed of by this.

also the unlockable snipers are as strong as the m4... needs a power boost.

riot shields should be able to use an m-9 while we are at it.

I'm not buying MW2, but just a thought, only being able to attack with with one pistol, will not go over well. They'd have to do it with all pistols.

Now imagine a guy charging at you with a Deagle, behind a near bullet proof shield.

Yeah I'd shit bricks.

Anywho, deflecting bullets is enough IMO, shooting with it is just to much...Now if they made it so you tilt your shield out wards reducing the coverage AND let you fire a sidearm, then yes maybe. :)

Just a thought

Oh and this, it's actually not that hard to implement, even dragging over the old MW1 Dedi config would work wonders. Mod part is only slightly harder I'm assuming.

Ninja'd. Yes indeed, that would be a niiice thing. I will never buy that game as long as it lacks these two crucial elements. Also, fix this:
And I don't want to have the latest DLC to play online.

Obvious PC troll is obvious. This is a thread about tweaking the game, not adding hardware capability. Please go away.

Anyway, they should make sniper rifles blindfire wildly inaccurate again, even with Steady Aim. I'm tired of rushing a sniper only to have him spray the fifty-caliber long rifle in my face at 5 rounds a second.

Maybe you should stop trying to rush someone who's pointing an anti-material rifle at you.

PC Troll? How dare you!
[sub]"Hello? Internet police? Yes, I'd like to report slander against my per- No this is not a prank call. Hello? Hello?"[/sub]

Trust me, I have no plans to actually ever play any Call of Duty ever.
Just thought that what with everybody complaining about the lack of these things, it was a valid thing to add.

What I'd actually like to see, now that I think of it, would be a story-extending DLC in which your character has to deal with the psychological after-effects of war: depression, flashbacks & whatnot.
Nobody'd see that coming.
...except it doesn't add anything to the thread, and still isn't valid, even though "everybody" complains about it.

Even when NOT playing hardcore a single....HEADSHOT should bring down your target. xD

Haven't played the game so i can't bring any ideas on the table except... headshot=death?Maybe...?Pretty please...?Fine...!I'm leaving then...! ;P xD

The Vector has the advantage of having barely any recoil (remember seeing that thing on Future Weapons), it's extremely easy to continuously fire at someone with it. I remember getting a kill streak of 8 kills with it, it's incredibly accurate, you'll barely miss someone if you got your sights on him. Still, in Hardcore, a headshot of any weapon should indeed be a one-hit-kill.

Although for my Scout class I've changed the Vector with an M4 with a silencer and a heartbeat sensor. I'm a sniper's worst nightmare. Sure I don't get the most kills, but hunting for campers or just chasing someone's who completely oblivious that there's something behind him until I can land that clean shot or put a knife (either throwing or stab) in his back is just soooooo satisfying.

You say that as if there aren't well-documented cases of people continuing to fight after being shot in the head.

http://www.thegunzone.com/11april86b.html

The fifth round of 38 Special +P fired by SSA Gordon McNeill from his 2.5-inch S&W Model 19 in the furious exchange hit Matix with a penetrating wound of the right lateral face, fracturing the right maxillary sinus and middle cranial fossa, and causing a contusion of the right temporal lobe.

In Anderson's marvelously detailed narrative, the wound...

"...must have been devastating. It fractured the base of the skull and contused the brain. It should have knocked Matix unconscious. [...] It is difficult to comprehend how an individual received this wound, laid unconscious for one or more minutes, and then managed to become sufficiently alert to leave (his vehicle), move around for 1-2 minutes, figure out that Platt had entered Grogan/Dove's car, travel to that car, and get in. [...] Matix's ability to function with that head wound was extraordinary."

Evil Tim,did you just give me two links for one example?I'm asking because offcourse i'm not gonna read em.

Nice and jolly there, what's your point? You know that the odds for something like that are very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very slim, right?

So,allow me to repeat "Even when NOT playing hardcore a single....HEADSHOT should bring down your target."

There we go.

One describes the event itself [including that Matix also did the above with a second wound to the torso], with the second a rundown on the aftermath which includes the quoted portion. But hey, since you're bragging about being lazy, getting a greater understanding of things obviously doesn't matter to you.

Not really. In fact, in a fully realistic damage system there would be a distinct [if still small] possiblity of surviving a single shot to the head with a pistol round, which is what the Vector fires. It's fully within the realms of possibility that a single headshot from a short-barreled SMG might not bring down a target.

A single headshot does bring down the target, no matter the mode or weapon.

The only exception is when someone is wearing the blast shield, which is worn on the face and basically makes headshots count as body shots. But that doesn't matter since NO ONE uses the blast shield xP

Since i'm lazy and obviously you're not,why don't you go and find more examples for me.You said that there are well-documented cases.

Why don't you admit it?That possibility would be really, really small. We're talking about a pistol round here, not bb gun bullets.

You want to argue, somehow i understand that but let's use logic here.

I didn't know that but i've read that it has lots of new perks.Maybe that was the case with the OP?
