Evil Tim,did you just give me two links for one example?I'm asking because offcourse i'm not gonna read em.

Nice and jollie there, what's your point? You know that the odds for something like that are very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very slim, right?

So,allow me to reapeat "Even when NOT playing hardcore a single....HEADSHOT should bring down your target."

There we go.
A single headshot does bring down the target, no matter the mode or game.

The only exception is when someone is wearing the blast shield, which is worn on the face and basically makes headshots count as body shots. But that doesn't matter since NO ONE uses the blast shield xP
I didn't know that but i've read that it has lots of new perks.Maybe that was the case with the OP?
Nah, none of the perks reduce damage.

Yes, because you couldn't even be bothered to Google it for yourself and see if there were more cases. Oh look, three million Google hits.

How about you just look at the first page of links that come up? One is a link to this:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,228863,00.html

Of a woman surviving being shot in the head with six .32 calibre bullets. That seems a little far off 'headshot means instant death,' doesn't it?

This is just the second example but fair enough.

What did she do after being shot? You don't have to find it,i'm just asking in case you have it handy.Just being curious here.

Excuse me though because i still believe it's extremely rare.I'd have more chances to win the lottery than to be shot in the head and survive IMHO.

There's a few others from Yahoo! answers here with personal accounts:

You've probably also seen stories of people getting things like railway spikes and scaffolding poles stuck into various parts of their heads and surviving [and often not even noticing until they physically touched the object with their hands], though some end up with permenant side-effects like seizures or partial blindness.

Apparently she was out of hospital the day after and being interviewed by the press [comes up as the first result description on a search for "Patricia Goncalves Pereira;" "A Brazilian woman who was shot six times in the head after an altercation with her ex-husband was out of the hospital and talking to the media on Saturday."]

More in the spirit of the topic:
I propose a revised ammo pick-up system. 80% Of the time when I walk over a SCAR while wielding a SCAR, I don't get the ammo. It's like you only get ammo from a weapon when it has the exact same load-out as yours. And honestly, that's pure bullshit, it's not like it matters if a SCAR has a silencer a not, they both use the same bullets. I get out of ammo só quickly, and I can barely pick something up.

Dedicated Servers & Mod Support maybe?
Ninja'd. Yes indeed, that would be a niiice thing. I will never buy that game as long as it lacks these two crucial elements. Also, fix this:
And I don't want to have the latest DLC to play online.
How is having profiles saved online an advantage? Unless I'm misunderstanding what that means, isn't it a disadvantage? (My understanding of online profile means that when you play while offline you cannot acess your profile for perks, savegames etc). Is it just an online backup or something?

Add in dedicated servers for PC -_-. I don't actually expect IW to, because they are whores, but surely some of these yaaarrr pirates I keep hearing about plan on putting the server code from 4 into 6, 'twould be nice (as modding it now is unorthorized and thus considered piracy, even if there's no actual intellectual theft from MW2).

riot shields should be able to use an m-9 while we are at it.
I'm not buying MW2, but just a thought, only being able to attack with with one pistol, will not go over well. They'd have to do it with all pistols.

Now imagine a guy charging at you with a Deagle, behind a near bullet proof shield.

Yeah I'd shit bricks.
HAHA yea, Counter-Strike figured this out the hard way.

Since I'm playing at the moment, that's not true for weapon modifications; ammo for a FAL is ammo for any FAL, and so on. You might be being fooled because only the weapon you're holding will actually disappear when you pick up ammo, while ones with different mods remain in case you want to swap.

The silencer might be different because a rifle with a silencer would not be using the same ammo as one without; to be reasonably silent, a rifle needs to use special subsonic ammunition, otherwise the crack of the bullet breaking the sound barrier ruins the effectiveness of the silencer.

Really? Then I must be véry unlucky, or everyone who drops their weapon when he/she dies is out of ammo. It's not that I'm not seeing the weapon disappear (I ain't looking at the ground, that's suicide), but each time I walk over say a SCAR while holding a SCAR myself, I'm not getting any extra ammo. It sucks getting out of ammo, I feel naked if I can't use my heartbeat sensor.

The silencer might be different because a rifle with a silencer would not be using the same ammo as one without; to be reasonably silent, a rifle needs to use special subsonic ammunition, otherwise the crack of the bullet breaking the sound barrier ruins the effectiveness of the silencer.
Another lesson learned.
