Ok so I've made it all the way to "Loose Ends" in MW2 on veteran. I'm at the part were you have to survive and defend the computer while it downloads and can't make it all the way either I die or the thing gets over run. What do I do, can anyone give me advise for this?

Although I haven't reached the point I can give some tips
-Keep cover, don't stand out in the open
-Use grenades on bunched up enemies
-Look down the sites
-Set claymores/c4 if possible

If it is anything like the sniper scene from CoD4 just do what I did I hid behind where the enemies spawned waited for the time to be up and then ran to the guy and to the helicopter with barely a clip fired.

It's actually quite different from that.
If the enemies get to the ACS, they'll destroy it and you'll have to start over, it's quite frustrating really.

OT: I suggest finding a good spot for cover, and occasionally go out and check the ACS module.
Also, don't bother with planting claymores, they'll only take out one enemy and waste your time.
That's all the help I can really give you, I've only done it on Hardened.
Sorry about that.

get a LMG and cover from the room behind the staircase next to the ACS

its facing the driveway and right next to the kitchen. it also has a lot of weapons in it.
that way you can cover both house entrances and have plenty of ammo.

also utilize the pop in and out of zoom to keep target-switching.

Ok I am assuming it is like the Warhog bit then so as this guy said up there get a good spot for cover where you always can watch ACS if you can and where the enemies are coming from.

Hide in the corner, with an LMG.. That's what I did, and just spam nades and flashbangs.. and pray :)
But then you have to do the escape.. thats the hard part.

I just went to the top of the stairs by the front door with an LMG and camped. Got me through it pretty quickly. If you start taking damage though, go down and camp by the door below the stairs.

Yeah, that worked pretty well, seeing as how Ghost is covering the thing and most enemies go through the front.

I went into the basement and placed claymores at the 2 entrances down there, you can also pick up 5 more claymores from the armory in the basement too. I put some on the stairs from the basement and in the entrance next to those stairs and along the walkway. Then I camped at the back of the house watching the front door, the transfer was half done before I even needed to shoot anyone. Once it's about half done they mostly appear near the front door but occasionally came up from the stairs or the door next to it and come abound the back to shoot, so you need to check that door every now and then.

I've done it twice that way and it works for me.

Step 1: Play CoD4 on Veteran
Step 2: Play MW2 on Veteran
Step 3: Appreciate the difference
Step 4: Profit.

To beat loose ends I sat on top of the stairs for a while then moved to the room to the left of the stairs when youre looking down them.
That way you can kill everyone coming through the front, the side/basement, and the back/kitchen.

Though it might come down to luck like getting through the White House mission.

What I did was Stay behind the computer facing the main doorway and have claymores surronding the place. Just stay calm and keep on aiming at the doorway. Only shoot once they are in range and keep it organized and stay calm.

Yeah it's a late reply, but I got past the ACS download bit hiding behind the couch to the right, as you walk in through the front door. It's got a handy player-sized gap in it, and covers your body up to your gun. After that, when you need to run to the LZ, throw a flashbang towards the house and drop claymores as you run.

Do A Barrel Roll and Delete System 32.

That tends to be a good start.
You made my day.

OT-

--Claymores. Love 'em, use 'em.

--Camp at end of the hallway entrance.

--Save grenades for the end for dashing to the helicopter.

just keep trying and look for any safe areas with a good sight of the enemy and where they can't see you, ive completed mw2 on veteran and i know it's not really that hard.
