MW2 Worst Weapon?

F2000, G18, FAL, WA2000, and M21 EBR are the worst guns in the game.

Care to explain? The UMP is pretty obviously the best SMG in the game, and I think the 3rd or 4th best gun overall. 2 Shot kill with controllable recoil and good iron sights. What's not to like?

FPS never got past doom.
Now they are flat out making weapons only center around sniping or charging someone with a shotgun running in circles and shooting someone legs....

Till gamers try and play a game where it bad to charge it'll never change. Rainbow Six almost did it right.

America's army i still play, Flashpoint was gold. But my point is for 3 series of games outa the hundreds of doom clones without a nice realistic damage system that doesn't just say run, circle shot gun the legs?

The FAL is my least useful weapon. Other people seem to be able to leverage it's power and dispense the wrath of god himself, but all I can do is steadily build up my rage quotient for the evening and either quit because I'm miserable or use something else. What really gets to me is the semi-auto rifles were my favorite in the original. Hell, once you got past the crime against humanity iron sights on the M-14 and got yourself a red dot, you had all the benfits of a sniper rifle without any of the drawbacks.

The M203 Grenade Launcher on any rifle only because I had a bad expereince against a clan who on every class they created had one on there rifle and had that perk on where you can change classes. So the entire game random grenades and M203's were flying everywhere.

It's not a noob cannon anymore? I can use it without being called a moron? I always hoped nobody was noticing that I use it these days and do quite well most of the time. Honestly, the drop in the stopping power means very little when chances are quite good your target doesn't have the silly extra health death streak reward (that has never once been active for me when I'm getting shot and yet I run into other people with it turned on regularly).

The 1887 got dulled down with the update, thank god, those things were cheap. The desert eagle finally has the recoil it does in real life,so no one should ***** about the fact your guy cant control a hand cannon...that's how it works people.

If you play hardcore, the M9 silenced is a one hit kill. That's about as cheap as you can get.... I LOVE IT.

Also, protip, any of the assault rifles you put a thermal on, you can push the left stick and steady them, like a sniper rifle. Makes them more accurate.

The Vector being crappy?! You can snipe with that thing on almost full-auto, I love it's lack of recoil. Sure, you'll probably loose a head-on fight with say an ACR or something more powerful, but heavens it's a beast of a sneaking weapon.

I'd say the FAL. If you want to stick with a poor man's sniper rifle, go for the FAMAS (my little brother is godlike with that thing, and he barely plays the damn game) with it's super accurate burst, don't bother with that single shot thing, it barely gives you any chance in a head-on fight.

Dual sawnoff shotguns suck. You have to be practically close enough to melee the person in order to hit them, and there's a fairly long reload after every two shots. I like me some SCAR.

The throwing knife. I like to think its like the Dan(street fighter) of Modern Warfare 2 where you can say "Im that much better than you. I killed you with the knife!". More of a humiliation tool than a useful weapon to me.

Same, but I got a mic, and after joining a server full of whinging pricks moaning in the lobby, I shouted, in a truly deep, booming, horrific voice:

"WOULD YOU MISERABLE LITTLE KIDS SHUT THE FUCK UP AND STOP MOANING. IT'S A FUCKING GAME. BE QUIET AND LET ME ENJOY MYSELF."

The server was silent for an entire match.

...what do you want to freakin snipe with your shotguns? The range on those things is good for shotguns. And you can fire four shots with akimbo on.

1887s are still better then rangers, and pretty much the same as before, you're just forced into using Bling.

I'd say my vote goes to all of the Handguns, they are ridiculously weak, I must have been killed by them 10 times all up in my career(level 70s). Took me ages to get Tact knife and my scores were crap.

Sniper rifles are shit, hanguns are shit, launchers are pointless (especially the thumper) the FAL is pish, the LSW and RPD have to much recoil and the ranger and Winchester (1887) are just too slow and ineffecient. I prefer to use a Striker.

By intervention, I'm going to make a SWAG and say it's the Chey-Tac Intervention? Chambered .408 CheyTac? With a bullet so ballistically sound it hits with more kinetic energy than a .50 BMG outside past 700 meters. The .50BMG isn't quite as good ballistically, and it loses energy in flight. By the time it hits the 700 meter mark, the CheyTac is the more powerful round, even if it's lacking the BMGs greater mass.

Long-distance sniping in MW2 is about 200 meters. Most maps you end up within 50 meters of your target. The only time you use the Barrett somewhat realistically is in CoD4, when you have to assassinate the bad guy, I forget his name. I believe he's about 800 meters away, and you have to deal with what I assume is a VERY exaggerated wind and Coriolis effect. The Barrett is even mounted and everything, although it has infinite ammo with no need to reload. Either way, I'm pretty sure a .50 round in the chest from 100 meters away would put you out of commission. IW should have really worked on the way they laid out weapon unlocks and the weapon stats, CoD4 was much better in this way.

bassically, If the round from a >50 makes it to you, your fucked, at 100 meters a shot to the chest would leave with, basically no chest left. Get on youtube, or google, and look up Us snipers shooting insugents with the 50. The are taking shot about 1000 meers, and the are still removing limbs and heads easily.

Any of the Snipers. Don't get me wrong. I love sniping. Cod 4 all I did was snipe. The guns on that game though killed with 1 shot with stopping power. However on this one I find that the Intervention is the only good and most (but not completely) reliable sniper for a 1 shot 1 kill. The WA2000 is the worst for me.

Throwing knives are also in my opinion useless, however if you hit someone from one end of the map to the other with a throwing knife you will need to have a massive cart to wheel your gigantic (lucky) balls around along with the bragging rights that they come with.

EDIT: Also, range does not seem to count on the game (apart from shotguns and launchers) I can kill people with assault rifles or smg that should be a snipers shot. Hell I snipe with the MP5K just shooting it single shot quite fast.
