I would say this game should be burned, but saying this game should be burned would be an insult to fire.
Trust me, it's not as bad as the "game" that insult was first used for.

My CoD rage is how somebody with a slightly better connection than you can beat you because all 10 of your shots didn't register while 2 of his did.

One: mw2's multiplayer was easily more broken than mw3
Two: mw3 still isn't good. You should go into a CoD game with very low expectations. I stoped being a fan at mw2 but I get them as gifts
Three: you should be complaining about the mp7, fmgs, assasin, Type 95 and scar-l. You know, the real things that are broken. The model is bad on purpose because it's so old. It does have the most damage out of any shotgun anyway, so it's not with advantage

The killstreaks killed MW for me, they should of just left it 3,5 & 7. That coupled with YouTube and videos showing people where the glitches are and wheres the best places to camp in order to obtain said killstreaks.

Doesnt make for the fun times for me.

I guess what I'm getting at is that I can't understand why after such wide use in MW2 would the 1887s suddenly become so troublesome? I honestly can't wrap my head around it. Has anyone else noticed this?
Just wait till you try the SPAS-12 and the M16. Be preared to rethink your definition of nerf.

Im still dissapointed that we dont have a perk that gives you a big ballistic armor.

Like 35% less damage but can sprint very little.

(or something)

that would be cool

i dont play cod that much though
I see someone likes to camp and feels he needs to soak up extra damage while sitting in a corner like a boss.
Hey i see someone who like hairy men bum. Give a call by the end of the month sailor.

(fuck you)

You can get Juggernaut armour as a killstreak reward, if that counts.
As a perk! Something i can use all the time.
I play hardcore a lot, though, and something like that would pretty much screw the game. Unless throwing knives still worked. Then I wouldn't mind.

In answer to your question. No.

What I'm getting here, and stop me if I'm wrong, is that your favourite gun has been nerfed and you're unhappy. Yes?
I'll stop you for him. Infinity Ward have always seemed to have something against shotguns. There's always one that stands out and the rest don't really seem to do all that much damage and its pretty inconsistent from game to game. This applies to quite a few guns (I mean the rpg is now pretty much useless again people unless it hits right next to them, compared to the last game where it had believable killing power, which is rather silly).

I've actually followed the series with only a minor interest though, so i've not actually played the multiplayer of MW3 that much because i'm honestly bored of it, but if its the same as the change between MW1 and MW2, I can see his point. It certainly seems that way from the games i've played.
Fair enough. I can understand their apparent distaste for shotguns. I feel the same way.

I guess they are in a lose-lose situation. If the guns are always the same they're in danger of the old EA Sports problem of "No innovation!! It's just a roster update!" which we all know to be false or over simplified; regardless, if they change things the fans will be disappointed if they don't fans'll be disappointed.

1. You've been reported (presumably multiple times)
2. You may wish to avoid personal attacks. It's against the rules. Name calling also makes all relevant arguments you have seem less valuable due to the immaturity they're accompanied by.
3. Prejudice is an ugly thing. It makes you seem closed minded or ignorant. It'll help everyone (mostly you) if you try to drop your prejudices or at least keep them internal.
4. I'm not having a go at you. Believe it or not, I'm trying to do you a favour by replying to you rather than just reporting and moving on.

I understand where you're coming from. Because of MW2, sniping is never the same. When I say because of MW2, it's the fact people quick scoped and did ridiculous things that are literally impossible for a real sniper rifle to pull off. So they nerfed it, very much so to where one or two bullets in the head do not kill enemies in MW3.

It's probably the hardest class to overcome in my opinion because not only are the crosshairs off, but even getting headshots do not count as an official K.O kill. Really upsetting, because sometimes I want to feel like a sniper and not just run around shooting like I am invincible or rubbing off the bullets that hit me yet I heal after hiding a second or two. However sniping is still fun, you can weaken someone and it's hard for them to really see where you're at. Haha.
What sniper rifle are you using? I have no problem getting One Hit KO's with the uhh ASSR rifle i think its called. And my crosshairs are never off. Its got a 1.5% damage multiplier from the i think lower chest all the way up. so anywhere in there is instant death.

I was extremely disappointed when the developers announced that they had listened to the community and returned shotguns to primary status, especially considering that Modern Warfare 2 introduced underbarrel shotgun attachments. What's the point of using a shotgun when you can have an assault rifle with a shotgun attachment? This is why shotguns do not work as primary weapons in games revolving around modern warfare.

I was also disappointed that the M1014 didn't return but the Model 1887 did. Yeah, it's a cool gun but it doesn't belong in a Modern Warfare game.

Wasn't the entire point of the 1887 as a bragging points weapon? Like "yes yes, I totally destroyed those guys using this little POS against all their full auto-rifles etc" - it's SUPPOSED to be basic.

Following the rage- Akimbo FMGs piss me off like nobody's business, the Type 95 is mentally powerful, and anyone with no arthritis and a silencer can kill more people than cancer using the MK14. Sniping in CoD games has ALWAYS been broken, the maps just do not cater for real Battlefield style sniping, just sprinting round quickscoping. The Striker? Fuck me sideways it's cheaper than ever before with the range attachment and sleight of hand...

... Why do I continue to punish myself with this game?

You know sometimes i think they just include the shotguns and sniper rifles because they think it's some how necessary to have them in the game. With shotguns the hit detection is so bad that i have had games where i shoot someone in the head from about 5 feet away only to have them turn around and somehow knife me. As for the snipers well what's the point of having a gun that is optimised for long range when you have no maps that are big and open? Maybe I've been spoiled by Battlefield 3, it's not perfect but at least there is a good variety of map sizes from the tight enclosed maps like Operation Metro to the massive open ones like Caspian Border.
I may get a lot of stick for this but i genuinely think COD peaked at MW1 and has been going slowly down hill with each iteration. Essentially what happened was they managed to create a fantastic game with the first one and since then they have been making it more and more unbalanced and tiresome. IMO COD now needs very little skill to play, all that is needed is a good connection and the ability to be able to twitch your finger faster than the other guy.

all the guns in that game are nerfed. the makes have zero sense of firepower and used the same mechanics since the second or third game.

P.s. finest hour and big red one are still excellent.

The gun itself is inconsistent with it's damage. One minute I'll manage to get a 'long shot' kill after two or so shots, the next I'll get knifed through the buckshot of my own outgoing fire because someone apparently has reinforced legs.
Why are you aiming for the legs?

Problem is, they listen to their shit stick community.

'WAHHHH WE DON'T LIKE GETTING KILLED BY SHOTGUNS' Shotguns nerfed

Sure, early on in MW2, it was a problem, but they fixed that, fair enough.

Then there's no last stand, no this, no that. And suddenly something else feels overpowered.

Needless to say, I stopped playing Call of Duty games shortly after the release of MW3, because not only is it not fun anymore, it's too expensive.
