MW3 the end of Franchise (Spoiler)

MW3 is probably going to be the last game of the title. Not sure where they could possibly go after crafting an entire world war. Then again I've yet to play it, does the conflict get resolved, or did IW leave it open on a cliffhanger like a bunch of douchebags?
No way. I don't know what the IW/Sledgehammer half of the Call of Duty franchise will call itself if they drop the Modern Warfare moniker, but it's 100% not possible for MW3 to be the last Call of Duty. They sell more copies per hour than... well, anything.

It probably isn't, and no, it shouldn't be. They may not bringing much new content, but it's like watching a new season of sports. It has the same rules and a lot of the same players, but you watch it for that specific season. And still, the developers that work on it pretty much only exist for it now.
well, hopefully they will have put together a new engine for the series for the next game and start doing a story set around Somali pirates and Darfur. I haven't played this one yet but I will soon.

I might, MIGHT, be interested in a Call of Duty "Advanced Warrior", A futuristic setting game like BF 2142. It's an area they haven't covered that might work for their style of gameplay. They have really beat the WW2 and modern war horse dead twice over. Or they could be like Medal of Honor and release a new game just called Call of Duty. If you ask me the franchise should end with original MW.
Personally I will never buy another CoD game until they move the setting to anything other than Modern Warfare US vs Russkies.
Then make another one? It's not like there was a real plot anyways. It'll be the same characters, gameplay, setting but with different enemies.alik44 said:
