My cat tries to nibble on cords every so often. I was replaying through all of Xenosaga in order to write about it, and she would occasionally try to nibble off my controller cord.

She also developed an intense dislike for Shion's face in episode 3 and hissed a little at it. Someone earlier in the thread was right - cats are insane.

Although considering Shion's behavior in episode 3 I suppose I can't blame her...

hahahahaha!!! my cat likes to lick plastic bags, but the most weird thing she does is when she starts licking my fan mesh when it's on (maybe she likes the vibrations, or maybe it just tastes good).

Cats rule, my other cat can give any dog a run for it's money when it comes to fetching. And when it snows I usually put a leash on him and take him out to the park, he f...ing loves that.

You're cat thinks the X360 is food. It's also very slow.

There, a reason.

Right... Now, one reason for him to like your XBOX is, as stated, the heat it generates. And the nibbling and licking is probably:

1. He is marking it as his own, as it is in his house. Animals dont always pee on stuff for this.
2. You have probably touched it alot, and cats actually lick things to SMELL them better. He could also thik that the paint or glue or whatever on it tastes good.
3. Cats get a layer of shit on their teeth, he might be trying to rub it off. Try giving him some hard, pellet food.

As to why he eats cardboard, my cat does that too. We often unpack a box large enough for her to be in, and then she hides in there and starts chewing and spitting out the pieces all over the floor. It's because cats find the glue in cardboard tasty and we belive that she marks her terretory on the pieces, and then has us move them around so her land gets bigger.

Hah, I r scientificz

If it thinks the 360 is food maybe you could train it to bring you video game consoles instead of roadkill?

Wishful thinking, but a damn funny notion.

Heh, we used to find dead groundhogs on the front door step, amongst other things...

..and wonder if it was the dog or the cat that did it :p

My cats don't have strange licking habits. They instead ran into the room and looked around attentively whenever they hear a cat sound come from the TV. I'd get the sound to go again, then they'd look at the TV for a while. Then they'd get bored and run off somewhere.

oh my freaking god i am so tired of all this cat bullshit, your cat is not special, not unique, not interesting, and telling stories about your stupid boring cat is a sign that you are a lame brained numbskull who's company i wouldn't keep if the only other choice was flesh eating beetles.

YOUR CAT IS NOT CUTE, GET OVER IT AND SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!

i might help if you stop putting cat food on your 360 but on the rare chance you dont do that there is a simple way to stop him doing it. throw stuff at him/her whn he/she goes neer it. no animals like me :(

You cat licks your Xbox obsessively. My rat licks my face obsessively. She just groomed my *entire* face, from the left side of my jaw to the right side of my forehead. She even got my eyebrows. And I let her do it. So which of us is crazier, the rat or me?

LMAO. I never heard of a rat grooming anyone. I guess now we have to say "To a dog or a rat you're family, to a cat you're staff."

Khell, those cat images are hilarious. I've read the cat/toast thing many times, but the graphic makes it funny all over again.
