I am by far not the only Brony at my school, there is about 20 some odd that I know of including two of my teachers, just want to spread it further and unite us.

I just said that I've seen more "What is with MLP" threads than actual MLP threads this past month to someone who said that there are large amounts of Pony threads. Now that isn't true, since I've now sen 2 of each.

It's sort of upsetting to me, this whole "brony" fad. People should learn to be kind from common sense, not a TV show for 5 year old girls... You didn't learn how to be a follower of morality from watching the transformers, did you? Nobody calls themself an "Aut-bro-bot", all though it would be sort of cool... My point is, bronyism isn't needed. Just be a good person. seriously.

Question how does pegasister work when the derivative of brony doesn't mean male pony lover, it isn't a bro + pony it is /b/ as in 4chan + pony thus /b/ronies.

Sorry, but "/b/ + pony" does not equal "brony". That would make it "bony".

/b/ people can see it however they want, but most of the rest of the fandom is going with the obvious "bro(ther) + pony" portmanteau.

As for "pegasister"... well, I'd personally prefer "pegasis" if not for it being hard to distinguish from "pegasus" when spoken.

The significance of the "bro" in "brony" is that the My Little Pony franchise has never had a male fanbase worth mentioning before, despite having been around for nearly 30 years.

Also, I really don't think the term "pegasister" is at all necessary. "Brony" is a unisex word and I don't really understand the need to subdivide the fanbase with different terms.
