Well of course it was alright, his father is obviously a devoted and consistent presence in his life enough to calmly explain and put into perspective the wrong doings in the game in such a way that the child understands and knows not to replicate in reality.

He's obviously got very sensitive tendencies of his own and must be a very sweet kid, but he's got a loving father who is bringing him up well also, so he's very lucky.

It does call into question the true nature of humanity once again, to some kids, it will never occur to them to commit any wrong doings and to others they'll raise merry hell in any way they can possibly manage and at any opportunity.

Who's to say what causes it, Psychology doesn't have an indefinite answer, only explanations.

I first played GTA (the original game) at the age of Eight (my brother got a copy of it) and it never did me any harm, was never any good at playing the game and didn't do much apart from steal vehicles.

That was a really nice story. :)
I mean I played Violent games and watched films like the terminator when I was really young, and that didn't mess me up either!

A natural paragon, at the age of 4? I'm impressed. I tip my hat to both this kid and his dad.

Not what I honestly thought it would be. I'm astounded that the child played a very controversial game and played it in a manner that was nicer (for lack of a better word) than a game of Super Mario Brothers. I mean, Super Mario Brothers, you're killing things that could potentially be neutral characters that aren't out to kill you but can accidentally in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

While that child was out actually not just dispensing justice, but actually saving lives. All while driving safely and controllably. This is in a game that is actually is notorious for it's violence.

I'm sorry, but I can't just get over what this child did. I'm astounded to no end. Not only that he did morally good things, but he showed knowledge of society and a moral system that is higher than children of the same biological age.

I remember finding the movement very fiddly, never liked the controls for the original Resident Evil for the same reason. It wasn't untill GTAIII that I took much note of the series.

Wow... I thought this would be some ranting parents saying, "MY SON STARTED TO SWEAR AND BEAT THE NIEGHIBOR WITH A BAT AFTER I LET HIM PLAY A GAME THAT IS NAMED AFTER A FELONY! BURN ALL VIDEO GAMES!"
And here I always thought that Rockstarr just made up a cool sounding name! *sarcasm directed to parents that complain about "viulnt vidja gaems".*

I think you still don't know that kids below the age of 5 don't know right from wrong, and can be psychopaths even till the age of 9. Seriously, their emotions aren't even developed yet.
They obviously can know right from wrong, because this kid has done it. He may be a rarity, fair enough, but you can't say that all kids below the age of 5 have no morals.

Wow. I'm not sure I'd ever let my four year old nephew play GTA, but it sure as hell makes me wonder what he'd do.

That's.......... Creepy.

I mean at first it seems great, but then when you realize that he embodies exactly what the media says about gamers. That we can't establish a difference between games and real life.
