So heres the deal. Im tired of my hair cause...its boring. I Have blonde, short hair. Its also kinda curly. I normally just blow dry and add gel to hold it in place (yeah feeling kinda fruity right now)

So I was trying to style it into something like this

(Yay Chuck :D)

Any tips on how to do it?

Damnit. I'm only beast with long hair xD.
Hmm.

Well, it depends how curly ngh><. You might need to invest in a mini pair of hair straighteners.

My best recommendation is drop into a hairdressers and be all DO DIS FOARH MEH NAAAO! Pay attention to what they do, and get advice on what products to use.

:D.

Yeah, that's often a good thing to do, going straight to the experts. Still, I'd actually ask for their general opinion on a good style, and once you've got their input, then bring up your hairstyle in mind.
You'd be suprised what great looks they can come up with!

HOWEVER, if they suggest something you don't like the sound of, don't go ahead with it just to be polite.

The one time I've been to a hairdressers in my life...goddamn, they ruined my hair.

Which is why I cut it myself now haha.

But mmh, Erana is right, maybe even get their opinion. Just remember...better safe than sorry><;;

You should try shaving your head, at least once in your life.

Personally I love the way it feels (especially in the Summer) and I think it looks pretty neat and tidy, plus if you do like it (or just decide it's not the absolute worse thing you could ever do) it gives you a lot more leeway to experiment and try new styles in the future, since if you do make a mistake and mess up you can just shave your head and start again.

You may also find your hair is easier to manage if you start from the beginning and style it as it grows, rather than try to do something with hair of a predetermined length.

I'm quite lucky to have a head shape and facial structure that suits a shaved head (I think), so it looks OK on me... however it doesn't suit everybody and some people don't have the right shape head to pull it off, but you'll never know until you try.

This is my genuine opinion on the matter (I'm not trying to make a stranger shave off his hair for a laugh), because every time my hair and beard starts to become to long, unmanageable or even just starts to do my head in, I shave it off and start again... I'm so glad I took the plunge many years ago and tried it for the 1st time, as I away have that option (which is also my preference).

I have the exact same kind of hair and getting it into a decent style is something thats eluded me since I started trying at the age of 15 - God knows I've had some awful attempts along the way involving copious amounts of gel.

To be honest you won't get your hair looking anything like the guys in those pictures without using a pair of mini straighteners. I invested in some a while back and its been worth it - if you're only after being able to straighten the fringe, for example, it hardly takes any time either.

When my hair is quite short though, I've found it actually looks quite tidy yet 'cool' by keeping it flat and pushing the fringe across towards one side, kind of like Daniel Craig has it in some photos you see.
