Rule number 1 with Fable, ignore the hype, read a review of the game, make a decision.

In fact, that's a fair rule with any game.

Well I loved the first two and this one looks even more awesome, so yeah I will be getting it. After watching some videos, it seems the enviroments and scale is much improved as well.

I'm probably going to buy, or at least rent it, simply because I want to hear John Cleese say some more funny things. As long as it's not as anti-climactic as Fable 2, it should be fine.

For the record, the original Fable was pretty much the most badass game ever. I mean, you...
...have to fight of a giant Kraken...with your freaking MOM! The final boss turns into a motherfucking dragon!
The (other)final boss has what looks like a hokey mask!

Fable 2 was just awful, but I have hopes for this new game. Guess that makes me stupid.

I feel sorry for a chicken, what's going on with me?

I am hopefully goig to get it. I loved Fable 1+2 even with all of the promises that weren't kept an so I think I will also like this one. Besides, it will have John Cleese, Stephen Fry and Zoe Wanamaker's Voices in it. I was sold at the point that I heard that.

EDIT: There were more great voices than I thought.

This game does look good, but because there are other games i want to get even more, like Dead Rising 2 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. I might not get it.

Meh all I can say is "After Fable 2, never again ill play anything by Molyneux. He's suffering from hubris and his games are bland to average (apart from B'n'W 1) and overhyped.

Those people who actually believed Peter and fell into his hype, obviously failed. I bought both games without the hype and listening to his empty promises.

It doesn't change that this is a typical British game. It has it's charm and atmosphere and I personally cannot wait for the Butler that will guide you through the game, also the dialogue has ramped up alot more hours than Fable II. Just don't believe everything Peter says, admitted, he caved in and his PR makes sure he tells things that are possible in the game itself.

For me, I get this game regardless, it's a must-have title for me.
Yep, I've largely avoided all the previews and such for Fable 3. It'll probably make it more enjoyable.

Well, since the first Fable was so awesome, I'm buying every single Fable game that gets released. Maybe one of the sequels can rival the original.

I've only played fable 2 and didn't like it. The aesthetics were nice and all, but I found the game unimaginative, dullish, and annoying. I expect the same from the sequel, so I'll give it a miss (even though I have a huge stiffy for rusty, industrial age settings).
