ased on what you want, I can recommend Morrowind (with up to 300 mods), Oblivion, or any Neverwinter Nights game. There's also MMOs like Runes of Magic, Dungeons & Dragons Online, Lord of the Rings Online, etc. There's also a coule of good PC TBSRPGs like 3 Stars of Destiny & Aveyond 3.

vampire the masquerade bloodlines is pretty good i got it recently its from 2005 so you should hopefully be able to run it although you cant change your class look and combat if funky but the story is fantastic. also the unoffical patch is needed to make it playable

I'm gonna say Morrowind. It's got almost everything you're looking for. Almost. But it has a huge modding community, so there's a lot of life in that game.

Fallout 3 or Mass Effect 1 and 2, unless you've already played them.
