It's something every hack n' slash game should have, combo depth, yet many other games don't.

Well Platinum Games are the bastard children of Capcom, and I believe some of the Key DMC devs are part of that studio. Roll on release.

Its like Prototype all over again. It might not be revolutionary, but as long as the gimmicks and gameplay is fun, it might hold up. BUT Bayonetta is a linear hack n' slash. Can it hold up?

I'm sure it probably will, given enough depth and intricacies in the combat system. Hopefully there would be another game other than DMC to show off combo videos on YouTube. Granted, most of them would probably be Awesome but Impractical [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AwesomeButImpractical], but hey, at least you look stylish. Like an Elitist. It was the biggest let-down ever? I wasn't informed of this. Why didn't someone tell me!? I've been enjoying an apparently crappy game for ages now, looking like a fool!

I'm not sold on Bayonetta yet. The combo system looks interesting, but I'm not a big fan of hack and slash.

Fair enough. Just don't try to catch me on a "Bayonetta's story is the worst ever" angle. I've already made it clear in my first post that if this games story and characters can manage to be less appealing in the full game than they are in the trailers, I'll be impressed.
