Are you kidding me?! When Alien Archeologists dig through the remains of our planet, there will be a whole archological layer denoted by GoW and CoD4. You'll be able to date events 2007-2009 perfectly.AllHailTheAltmer said:This is exactly why I'm holding on to my copies of Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War. They're worth pennies now because everyone's got a copy, but one day they'll be rare, and these two games can stop blighting my shelf with their presence. There're also copies of Final Fantasy VII and VIII in my house which'll be worth something soon.
Really? You must have seen them coming. There are 3 copies boxed with manuals on there right now for £25. Still overpriced, as the cartridge itself goes for £3.99. I've got one upstairs.Shadowfaze said:i sold a copy (mint, in box) of the original Starwing (thats starfox's first name) on the SNES, for £200 on ebay.
How would I go about finding out/fixing that? I'm not particularly savvy when it comes to working with the magic-tube-surfing boxes.Fredrick2003 said:If you have a multicore PC trying turning off the extra cores.Koeryn said:Yeah. My problem now is my PC won't run it, lol. The engine crashes, even in compatibility mode.(whitty name here) said:Most games get cheap as they age. But as they age even more they go from old to retro and they get harder and harder to find. So when you see a pretty good game when it drops to a pretty low price it usually means in the next few years it will start to appreciate in value if its a game people actually want. Its a supply and demand thing. The sequel will probably start to follow the same road eventually.
This is how I fixed my Silent Hill 2 compatibility problem any way.
This. Explains why Chrono Trigger is so goddamn expensive. Final Fantasy VII not so much because, newsflash, I can get it on PSN for $10, NOT $50+.(whitty name here) said:Most games get cheap as they age.
