Is it necessary for gaming developers or publishers to pay for licensed music and then muffle it underneath every other sound in the game? Notably whit EA games such as Burnout and Skate, you have a licensed soundtrack (almost universally full of shit music) that you can't hear in game. Hell, Burnout Paradise even has a vehicle that muffles the music even more. And if you want to play the music on you console in-game it sounds even worse.
Another problem I have is with Codemasters. Really? You have all this licenses music and it doesn't play in-game? Sure, we have Queens of the Stone Age on the soundtrack list. But it only plays in the pit area/lobby.
Go fuck yourself. You wonder why you're losing money. It's because you don't use your resources properly.
Anyway, that's just my issue with it. Anybody have a problem with it how licensed music is used in games?
