My PS3 Bricked.

If you've got warrenty take it back to the shop you got it? if not you have to fork up about £125 to get it fixed.

I'd say if you have a warranty make use of it, if not fork over some cash to repair it/get a new one. Or just trash it if you want none of those options.

Do you have Continuous Play? I got mine replaced with the exact same model in under 2 days

If not, you could have a crack at opening it up to fix the CPU.

Other than that it is no more than spare parts now

You go spend $100 getting you PS3 repaired because the manufacturers are cheapskates. Hope all goes well

If it died for no reason, Warranty should cover it.
If you tried to install something like Homebrew into it, your out of luck. You only use System Mods at your own risk.

Was there something specific that caused it to die, like a new firmware update? If so then you should be able to call the manufacturer (hopefully).
