Ok so basically my parents are out of town for 3 weeks, in the meantime, I work friday-monday, 4 10 hour shifts. So basically, we have 4 dogs(3 of them yorkies, on a side note, screw yorkies, don't buy them, they are the most annoying dogs ever). These dogs need to be let out once an hour or they will piss or shit somewhere, when I am home, they don't do it because I LET THEM OUT. Every single time I come home from work, I never have far to look to find some piss. My sister? Oh she just plays LoL from 4-16 hours a day, or just fucking naps. I am going to the hardware store to buy a lock for the computer room door and I am going to change the wireless password. I'm fucking done putting up with this shit. She also doesn't clean her own fucking mess. My dad pulled a garbage bag full of crap from the computer room last week, a garbage bag full! If you bring it up to her, nicely or not, this is what you get:"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!! STOP BUGGING ME!!!"

Anyway end rant. Just had to vent somewhere not on facebook...

EDIT: Well, it seems I forgot to mention her age, it's 30! Just kidding, 20. But still pretty bad. I also got up at 7am and put a lock on the door, for some reason I can't change the wireless password, either way, once she gets out of bed, she'll be pissed off.

By the way, I have tried the civil approach, she just laughs and says go away. The lock is on now, I will only let her in there after a day of no pee in the house. Might make her wash the floors too, not just spot clean.

EDIT 2.0: So she found the new lock, read the message I left which said if she mopped the floor upstairs she could use the computer again. So what does she do? Spits in my face and trows my cellphone across the room. yeaaaaaaaaaah...

Sounds like a class A procrastinator.
Perhaps an intervention is in order? don't just go ahead and do one, plan ahead, make sure that she must attend or make her want to attend like iunno offering her some riot points or whatever if she sits through the whole thing. If nothing else you guys do need to talk about this addiction of hers.

Also this sounds like something for the advice forums, people there are a lot more insightful towards this kinda stuff.
Either way good luck mate.

She won't even let the dogs out between LoL games? They're almost perfectly timed to give you a chance to let the dogs out every hour. I really don't have any advice other than maybe hold the computer/wireless password hostage until she cleans up after herself/actually bothers to help at all.

I know that feel...

It was weird reading that because that sounds almost exactly like my sister. Laziness, dog piss, garbage filled computer room and all. With my sister it seems that it all stems from a lack of consequences. She's just never had a reason to have to do anything (other than just to be a decent person, but that doesn't seem to be a priority for her).

Anyway, I should probably stop before I get started on the massive amount of money she wastes and needless drama she causes. Sorry I don't really have any advice...

My cousin was like that when she came to "visit" with my grandmother a few weeks ago. Did nothing but sit at my computer and play freaking Facebook games and eat all my damn food. Threw her out to stay with her mother, let my grandmother stay.

Depending on her age this is likely just typical, from about 13-18 every single person is an arsehole at home, yes even you person reading this instead of helping your dear mother with the shopping! I know I was, and I know almost everyone I know was. If you weren't you either didn't realise how bad you were or are very much the exception.

Anyway, using passwords, locking things, hiding things all won't work. Because even if it's yours they will bug you for it, and keep bugging you for it. scream at you, then scream at your parents and your parents can't be arsed with that and will tell you to give it too them as your not using it (hell even if you are using it) because seriously, they don't want this hassle and you complain quieter than her.

Do you know what I honestly advise? Since you will always loose get the small victories when you can, get a laugh out of her misery once in a while like I did with my younger brother (and my older brother to me) because it's the only way you will survive until she's an adult. If she's an adult, tell her to get a job!

Anyway onto this other important issue:

Leave her a note saying 'if the dogs haven't been let out and if the house is in a shit tip, then you're not getting your Internet connection back.' take the damn router to work or something.
If she knows there's something in it for her, she should work for it. If she screams at your parents for it, all you have to do is tell them what she's been doing and they'll take your side.
If someones going to act like a child, you may as well treat them like one by taking away their toys.

Tell here straight out that you work and she doesn't, the least she could do is some stuff around the house, if that doesn't work, just tell here you are sick of it and make sure she understands it, best thing would be to cut the internet during a game if she isn't getting the message.

Don't be afraid to take A dirty approach.
That sounds like it's going to be a messy situation.

Take the router to work - or if the computer is yours, take the whole thing away. Or go in and take out the RAM or something and give her a list of shit to do and refuse to give it back until it's done.

Parents are ... interesting, and will probably be just as mad at you for doing anything as they are at her for doing nothin. It's stupid, but many parents are like that.

I'm hoping you don't do anything like cook or clean if you're working and she's not. If you're cooking, make only enough for yourself and forget about her.

... Honestly, if this were my sibling, I'd probably just beat the crap out of them, but that doesn't really work, so you need to do what will work best for the next little while without having your parents think you're the bad one.

You could always take a video with your phone the minute you walk in the door to show what the place looks like to show to your parents, and you can show yourself cleaning it up and being the btter person. Your parents will probably do nothing, though. Maybe post it on youtube or facebook so her friends see how disgusting she is.

Good luck, really.

Toss the dogs into her room at night and block the door, too.

Indeed.

Most teenagers are like this.
It's not even laziness, because they don't even realize that they have done something wrong most of the time.

She will grow up eventually, just like you did.

My two cents? Take the trash to her room and leave it there. If the dogs shit somewhere in the house go ahead and bag it, while leaving the bag open and put it where she sleeps with a note that says, "Hi. I will do this every time you don't take the dogs out. Lots of snuggles and kisses." Failing that a good old fashioned angry conversation may help. I would change the locks and passwords only as a last resort and if she starts to whine about it make sure you have evidence to back you up when your parents inevitably become involved.

Once an hour? My friend's dogs can go at least 3 hours no problems without going outside to pee/poo and they're small dogs.

But yeah, if your dogs are having accidents because of this your sister needs to shape up. Dogs don't like having accidents any more than humans do. Wonder if you can lock her computer somehow until she gets the picture... (that's what my brother did when he thought I was playing too much Doom Aliens TC.) After all she lives in the house too so she should pull her weight.

It's easier just to put a password on boot via the BIOS. If she gets locked-out from too many failed attempts, shame on her.

My advice would be to do exactly what you said you're going to do. If she confronts you, smile and tell her she had it coming.
