You just used the word "literally" the correct way. You, sir, are awesome.

Going to the GYM is fun. enough said.

obvious you can work out at home, i mean... the GYM isn't a magical place its just a place that makes it easier (at least for me) to get to the proper mind set.

I can sum up your whole post with "if you have the will power, you will lose weight"

On a side note - i'm kinda inclined to think this is some sort of marketing plot

Epic first post.

I used to go to the gym quite a bit, but I just found it boring and eventually stopped. However I still endeavour to go swimming 2/3 times a week. But then again, I don't go there to get buff 'ting - I just go (swimming) because I enjoy it and it does make you feel good. Saying that, I used to get horribly bored in the gym because I had zero motivation; I already have an averagely athletic build, and I don't worry about getting fat - my diet is generally pretty good...I rarely drink fizzy drinks, I drink a lot of smoothies, eat fruit, meat etc etc. Yeah, all in all I'm not fussed about spending that much on a gym membership. However, the leisure centre near my uni does an awesome deal if you're a student there: 70p for a swim or £2.00 the use the gym. That's brilliant!

My best mate, on the other hand, is a regular gym junkie; he goes pretty much everyday. However, he isn't doing it with the intention to get massive like so many other people do (God I hate how pretentious those people are), no, he does it because he really enjoys it, which is fair enough. Naturally as a bi-product of enjoying his hobby he has pretty massive arms and a toned torso, but like I said, he's not one of those people who...hmm...how can I describe it...
Yeah. He doesn't go around criticising those who aren't uber buff 'ting or anything because, you know, he's not a douche.

All in all, if you want to go to the gym, fine, but don't be such a twat about it (for clarity, this is not directed at anyone on here!!!). You look at some people walking around with muscles bigger than there head...they're obviously insecure, you can just tell by the way they walk and look. Of course that isn't to say this applies to everyone who works out, but you can really tell with some people...

Even though it was a massive wall of text you sir have said the truth.

I only use a gym to supplement what training I already do (and its a free gym belonging to the Rowing Club) and okay Im not huge but Im fit.

yeah its true. Construction work can make you lose weight fast. And ive known a couple of big muscly gym guys who start sweating pretty quick when they help you work. My theory is they have all the big noticable muscles strong and large, but, and im no expert on the human body, surely there are tons of little muscles on your body that are important for your overall strength as well.

This reads exactly like spam, and the book looks exactly like the type of book that would feature in a spam ad.

Does it also make your willy 13 inches longer, by any chance?

There are free articles all over the web telling you how to shape up. Askmen have like 300 a week. Hell, common sense will tell you how to shape up. Are you seriously falling for this?

[Mod Edit: Apologies for altering this, but removed the book's name. Thank you.]

Actually they currently thinking is Roman gladiators would be a lot more shorter and stockier than we imagine epsecially they ate a diet high in carbs mainly, breads, legumes. Having some fat on the outside helped because the goal was to draw blood and be showy not actually kill anyone (often), a good gladiator cost too much, this meant they could get battered with blunt weapons and be given shallow cuts that looked bad but wouldn't hit any vitals.

Sounds like spam to me.
That's what I was thinking, it could be legit but it does sound like reasonably well-disguised advertising.
