Wife had a dozen chocolate covered strawberries delivered with 6 salted chocolate covered caramels.

I had the day off and played Tomb Raider. Getting a bit difficult. Lots of bad buys coming at me.

I bought her a 1/2 dozen roses that came in a red vase. I marinated strips of chicken breast in terryaki sauce, baked in a casserole dish and served with shredded carrots and boston lettuce with which to make wraps.

Now she is cleaning, baking something. I'm drinking red wine, texting and playing freecell on a laptop while watching Big Bang. Got a cat with me on the couch.

Life is good.

Hope your Valentine's Day was fun. I hope to read good things about your day all.

EDIT: She melted baking chocolate and is rolling segments of banana in there.

Doing better than me. Long-distance. I ordered a few roses and a bear for him, it seemed to go over well.

Seeing as I haven't been in a relationship for a couple years, I just call it unconditional love day and do nice things for my family. Gave my brother one of my spare keyboards for his PC, then took my mum and sister out to lunch.

It was just another Friday.
Had coffee with my friend this morning before work. This time last year his gf dumped him and his new potential gf told him to go fuck himself this year so he just needed a friend, and a girl one at that so I could partly explain what was going on in her head.
In his own words, "You're the only girl friend I've got left because I stuck my penis into the other ones and now they're mad at me."

Lol.

Went to work. Came home. Made an omelette. Played Scatagories with my mum and neighbours. Put some washing on and cleaned my room. Talked to boyfriend. Apparently we've got each other the same Valentines day card...

I've never really been into Vs day. My boyfriend buys me presents all the time anyway so it doesn't feel special having a certain day.

We are going away on Sunday to the Lake District for our anniversary/Vs day weekend though. Also I get to buy half priced chocolate tomorrow! I'm not daft!

Valentine's Day is a good excuse to post this:

Which has a very catchy jingle to it.

Well, I figured I would stay home all alone and do nothing, as I have no one to celebrate with. It looks like I'll just watch a couple movies or cry myself to sleep. Likely the first one

I slept all day. Literally, weeks of overtime night shifts caught up. And my ex sent me a couple of funky texts that left me scratching my head.

I'm going to post this funny video for everyone who spent Valentine's Day alone.

Anyway, I spent mine playing Battlefield 4.

My daughter rented a movie, CHarlie St. Cloud, looked sentimental. She said it had her confused. Now I have to check out the wiki on it and try to figure it out.

I watched Elisium last night. Stupid but gorgeous with terrific action.

The Vicious Kind is on Netflix streaming at this time. Not sure if you'd call it a weepy, but it was a very good and interesting drama.

Hope you find something kleenex worthy.

How far are you into it? I'm finding it great, but just as I'm having fun, someone out there must have though it needed to be more challenging and I've got tons of bad guys trying to kill me! Amazing game though.

Great video! I'm stuck trying to put a bomb on the back of a tank. You doing the campaign or single player?

I owe someone in this thread a response on another thread but it is too serious and the red wine has hit. I'm just gong to play freecell for a while. Maybe Wii U mini game.

I was more thinking along the lines of something violent or funny, though I could just watch a bunch of porn, that would be kleenex worthy.

LOL. Elisium was plenty violent and spectacular to look at. Hope you get to catch it on demand. For laughs, I've mostly been watching stand up on Netflix. For porn... not that I'd know, but I try to stay to sites that don't carry computer virus. I've heard that's important. From other people. Not that I'd know anything about that.

And this is why I hated it. Because everyone's laughing at me, all these jokes at the expense of single people. They're always doing it, of course they are. But they do it a lot worse and a lot more openly on that day. And when I complain, I'm the one who should shut up.

I spent it as I always do. Venting my anger at all the people laughing at me through violent videogames and films, not stepping foot out my door because I don't think I could take it. I think I coped better this year, if that means anything. I didn't have a major meltdown at any point, a few angry outbursts bought quickly under control. I watched robocop for the first time, the original, never really got the opportunity until the release of the reboot flooded DVD stores with low cost copies of the first film, so that was probably the highlight of my day.

Still, it's incredibly depressing to think the odds are that next time'll be exactly the same. And the next year. And the next.

Just...I'd really like to know one of these days. I'd really like to know why is it that people are surprised when I'm angry that they're laughing at me.

I spent all day crying in a corner because no one loved me enough to go out with me. (not really)

Actually, I spent most of it just really tired. Haven't gotten a lot of sleep lately, and the illness I've had for a while now has really sapped my energy. Still, I had an exam today that went over very well, and I've been enjoying Etrian Odyssey Untold a lot lately. Overall, can't complain.

I think jihading a dirt bike or quad is a wholesomely better plan. Going jihad on a tank is a slightly mobile coffin. I once saved an M-COM set in Siege of Shanghai Rush by using a jihad MRAP, that was pretty cash.

I did the campaign the day it came out, I was one of those people who got a VPN just because they couldn't wait twelve hours for the game to come out in America. And thank jesus for that, I got the M249 for Support and didn't have to use the U100 MK5 at all and could move on to other LMGs. I was thinking of replaying it, now that the achievements for PC work, and to get all the collectibles.

Well apart from feeling lonely and complaining, I basically met up with my best friend and had some Japanese cuisine with him. Then we hung around his house playing the PS golden game, MediEvil and then beating the shit out of people in WWE 12.

Not a bad day, to me who doesn't have a girlfriend I didn't really care.
My best friend on the other hand did have a girlfriend but he say that the day is pretty bad because "Why devote a day to loving them when you can do that all the time?", which makes sense to me.

Still, not a bad day.

I ate a shit lot of chocolate, drank a lot of beer and mixed music for a few hours.

Now I'm drunk and working on a Donk track and incorporating 30 year old hiphop samples.

Worked a split shift and visited my girlfriend at her work to give her some peanut butter hearts. So over it was an average day,a little depressing given our current situation that we couldn't really spend it together.

Slept til midday, went to work for 7 hours, came home, got a chinese (mmmmmm, satay), spent £1600 on a new computer.

So all in all, better than most of my Valentines days.
