Yah, a book sounds good but i read anyway, i was thinking more along the lines of a free internet game or something like that just to at least have something to play.

Read a book, like many have said.

If you want to remain within the world of gaming, I suggest using ZSNES, Project 64, or Dolphin. Fantastic emulators.

If you can turn your brain off for prolongued periods of time, Runescape can entertain you for weeks.

Join a library or go to a bookshop and get some epic books.

If you haven't read them already, I can recommend Necroscope by Brian Lumney, and Horus Rising or The Founding by Dan Abnett.

They're the first books in some truly epic series', and if you get into them you won't miss your X-Box at all.

I, Zombie by Al Ewing is another good, epic book, short but sweet.

get a ps3. never breaks, never overheats, free online.
if i had the money for a ps3 then i would just buy a new xbox
no love for the PS3? i got my ps3 after my 4th xbox broke. i love the Slim ps3.
no, not no love there are just so many games on xbox that i can't play on ps3, as well as the fact that all of my friends have an xbox so even though playing online is free it wouldn't be nearly as fun playing by myself

Tell that to the one I had for a couple of weeks, the one that caught on fire.

Nothing "never breaks."

As for the OP:

Buy a $20 DVD player. I have seen Colby players for sale as cheep as $12.99. Or go to the library, I for one am glad that my tiny town has a library, a well stocked on that that, and even better if there is a book in the system that they current do not have at that branch I can ask them to mail to me directly, and I only need to return it to the local one.

Even better find your local civic center and go pick up a hobby like ceramics, play a team sport, or something.

Don't read a book, because nobody does that anymore and anybody who says they do is lying. What you choose to do is completely your own imperative, seeing that we Escapists have no clue as to what you like to do (aside from play your 360). Might I suggest swimming? I'm biased, seeing how I spend all of my time in the pool, but you may find it fun. Plus, the girls will love it (and so will the guys, if that's your thing).
