Mysterious New "Long Live Play" Playstation 3 Ad.

I haven't seen an article or thread on this yet, so I figured I'd make one...

Earlier today, Sony released an ad via VP of Puzzling Teasers Kevin Butler's twitter accompanied by the words:

"Shhh?I've got a little something special for you. But let's keep this between me and the 107,000 of you," it read.

The trailer, seen here,
Is packed full of references to Resistance, Ratchet and Clank, and several other of Sony's big name franchises, many of which youtube comments have already pointed out.
It seems the mystery that hasn't been found out is the man that appears in at around 0:51, with the date 10.5.11 displayed on screen (looking at it for a bit, it's pretty clear to me now that the man is Kratos), a date at which the secrets of the trailer will supposedly be revealed.

There's been lots of speculation on what exactly this ad is hinting at, my favorite being a Super Smash Bros.-esque game featuring Sony's most famous characters.

Edit: Knowing exactly what's in the bowl at 0:35 would help, since those are what each character must have paid with to get in.

Ah, was that Metal Gear Mk. II? Sony, you shouldn't have!

It's hard to tell, really. I know this doesn't contribute much but speculation is speculation, no? I don't want to be a pessimist and say that's just a general PS3 advertisement--I don't even think that would make sense with all the references to older titles like FFXIII and MGS4 as well.

Guess we have to wait and see. At any rate, from a cinematography standpoint, the ad is really well done, in my opinion--so much packed into less than a minute.

I'd think since it's an ad featuring playstation exclusives it's either the afformentioned smashup or the first ad for the playstation 4.
