Myth or fact? The PSP doesn't have any games

I came across a post on a forum that said the psp had no good game. I think it's pretty odd for people to say this, as think there are plenty of great titles on the system. It may not have as many turd titles as the DS, or in general the amount of good titles on the DS just on the top of my head these are titles that have been met with praise by both critics and gamers:

2 God of war games

3 MGS games

2 patapon games

FFV7: CC

Jean D'Arc

Tactics Ogre

2 Loco Roco games

Persona 3

2 Disgaea games

Final Fantasy Tactics

and this is just off the top of my head. there are plenty i am missing for sure. now i know i listed some remakes and ports, but considering these forums are obsessed with remakes, and considering some of titles like Disgaea/Persona3 are rarer to come by in the console version, i think it is ok to mention them here.

so 6 years after the launch of the psp, why do some people continue to say there are no good titles on the system?

Every system has good games, anyone who thinks otherwise is a narrow minded idiot. I haven't updated the list in some time, but I'm sure this is enough to shut idiot up who brings up that asinine statement that the PSP has no games. If you actually look, you can find excellent games for every platform.

More seriously though, the PSP does have a huge range of games and a lot of them are actually pretty decent. It's definitely a "mysterious myth" that the PSP doesn't have any games. The PSP is a "legendary legend" amongst handhelds.

PSP has a shit-ton of good games. It also has access to PSOne games from the PSN. Who ever made that post about the PSP not having good games obviously knows very little about good games or doesn't understand how to use google.

The problem is no matter how many great games you can list, anyone who says, "PSP doen't have any good games," will be able to give you ten reasons why each of those games sucks.
Screw them, though. Who cares what they have to say? You have a PSP, you have a library of games for it, just enjoy them.

P3P was the whole reason I bought my PSP, and since then I've gone out and gotten several other games, most remakes of older games that I greatly enjoyed.

I have the PSP 3000 (or the silver one) and I only have two games: the one that came with it and Transformers. I have looked and there aren't as many games that interest me out for the PSP as there are for the DS. I have received an offer from my cousin for my PSP & I am now think of giving him joint ownership. Lol! I'm tired of piddling around with it when my DS is my main game system and it is broken and I need a new one. I have played Sony and Nintendo, but Sony isn't up to Nintendo's game standards.

PSP has some of the most involving RPG's and stuff out there. As someone else said, they are highly under marketed. One of my all time fave games and best in the series is Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, a PSP only game.

That's a nice list, although it could all be summed up with the only reason that I bought a PSP, and that of course is Peace Walker, AKA "Metal Gear Solid 5; X-Ray Vision of the Patriots"

As a person who JUST literally bought a PSP less than 2 weeks ago, I can safely say this is completely false.

Right now, I'm playing Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (and enjoying it immensely), and I'm sitting on 7 other games right now that I haven't even gotten to (I got kinda crazy when I first got it, and bought a ton of games I wanted to try).

Even with my limited experience thus far, I can say that this system is not dry in the good games department.
