Of course insurance will cover everything so there's no damage.
I know I've got cannonball insurance, do you?

But yeah, in retrospect, it's all just a good laugh, and I sure hope they air it in whatever episode it turns out to be :p

So wait...It cleared the wall, sailed the distance to the front door, went inside the door, then UP the stairs, THROUGH a bedroom, crashed out the window, then went OVER a 6-lane road before landing in a van's windshield? The dude owning that van must've had seriously bad karma for that.

Oh I hope they air that one, that's fucking hilarious. Ok, it could have hurt someone, but it didn't and that's what matters. Out of curiosity, does anyone know if it was Savage and Hyneman doing the experiment? Or was it the junior team? Not that it really matters, I'm just curious.

Everything considered, this sort of "epic fail" (involving property damage) was probably an inevitable; the Mythbusters' fondness for high explosives, regardless of all the precautions they (usually) take, means something had to go horribly wrong at some point. They'll likely be taking more safety precautions due to the event, potentially moving from their favourite location for such tests to somewhere more remote, but that's to be expected.

Luckily no one was hurt by this, but something like this had to happen eventually. There will be damages to pay (there's little reason the Mythbusters shouldn't be covering those costs), but the "victims" will also have one HELL of a story to tell for the rest of their lives.

And because no one was hurt, this "epic fail" is absolutely hilarious.
The "victims" will probably agree, once they've had a chance to calm down from the scare.

On top of paying for damages, I'd demand a copy of Jamie's mustache imprint in ink. Imagine how much that would go for on EBAY!

...Yikes. Well, at least nobody got hurt, right? And at least these people get one hell of a story.

"Can you make a candle out of earwax like shrek?"

It turned into "Dude, what would happen".
Really? They really did that? Glad I missed that episode

Cannonballs are scary things. Unpredictable from the moment they hit the ground or bounces from another hard surface.

There no way the film crew could of recorded that! (Otherwise I would of want to check it out!)

In all thing consider, it could of gone alot worse (as in someone died just because of curiousity). Still I feel the Mythbuster should pay the damage or at least own a few apologies to the people got thrown into this mess.

If I was the guy who owned that van, I would be rather conflicted. On one hand my van was destroyed, on the other it was by the freaking Mythbusters. Either way, bragging rights have been obtained by the guy with the van.

Good luck finding one (I'm sorry, I couldn't help it).

Does any one know what episode this is going to be on, if they will air it or if their is any amateur footage of this 'incident' floating around?

The gun had lifted slightly from its intended position just before it fired, putting the steel round over the water barrels, off the hillside, and 700 yards East. There it bounced through the front door of a home, up the front stairs, through a bedroom-past a sleeping family-out the wall, over a six-lane road, and on through the van's front passenger window.
I haven't had a laugh like this in a while. If God does exist, he absolutely hates Mr. Gill, thats for sure.

The only surprise is that they haven't done this sooner. Those guys are really a joke and it's a miracle their experiments don't go awry
