The Tetris Effect one threw me off since I've never heard of it. Still, interesting disorder.

that last question is bullshit, I play video games almost non stop and I've never suffered from the "Tetris Effect".
I have. From all kinds of games. Tetris included.I had just went on a tetris binge all weekend long and was out front on the porch swing and was slightly swinging. I was bored as we were waiting to go somewhere like the store or something and started swinging in misguided ciircles causing my feet to push off from various positions. At one time, my feet were about to line up in a heel-toe line and my brain paniced and said "Don't let that happen because it will make a straight line and your feet will disappear!"

It is lame but when the mind has been focusing on the perameters of the game for long enough, it starts applying it to real life. I once said "L-O-L" as I laughed at a friend's joke because I had been playing an MMO all day long by myself. For some reason my brain thought I needed to say it and not simply express it.

88%, I only slipped up on Kong.

TBF, I have researched most of these so I knew them.

Especially as "Polybius" is referenced in Doomsday Arcade.

Heard of, and suffered from the "Tetris Effect". It was really big with the VR cabinets released in the 90s, as you'd see people coming off them and having to re-adjust their head movement to cope.

100%, first try.
Heard about some, made some logical guesses about others. (Playstations for super computers? Come on!)
I feel like such a nerd.
Well, there was news once that when the PS2 come out - there was some news report about the technology of the PS2 rivalling that of the guidance systems in cruise missiles...

A few weeks later we were told there was nothing to be worried about. So either they did that to get some lols when Saddam buys 4000 PS2s and realises he now has 4000 cruise missiles that you can play Devil May Cry on instead of US capitalist pig crushing weapons :p.
Hey, maybe that's why they put it out! To fool Saddam into wasting a bunch of cash on PS2 systems!

... I mean, apparantly it didn't work, but hey - might of been the thought behind it. Who knows?
