I have expanded my Mythos board to simply 'Horror', and have also added a Steampunk board.

If you are interested in participating, please join here:

http://www.michaeltillman.com/forum/

Then pm me which board(s) you wish to join.

There are currently 15 active members - and so far one from the Escapist. :)

Merry Christmas everyone.

Hey man, participation is the name of the game! :) I wrote this nifty little thing about masks that I need to flesh out... but it doesn't really fit in any 'Mythos' category. So yeah, I expand!

The Sci-fi circle sounds interesting. I have an idea that I can use there. You'll have to give me a bit of time while I type up an introdution page for it. But thank you for putting this up, I am always looking for places to expand my budding writing talent into.

Sure thing.

When you join, just don't forget to pm me.

Also, this is in its infancy. There are 6 stories posted altogether, and the sci-fi board I just opened without advertisement.

Everybody will at least read/comment, but don't feel lonely because you are the first sci-fi poster. Also, please take the time to offer your input on the other stories. Community makes it fun, and also the most beneficial. :)

Sober Thal - No reason to feel sorry. I'm offering a place for people to engage in a writing process, most folks don't want to take the time.

As to promoting other sites, I see nothing on this entire website geared towards a mutually engaging writing experience. If you would prefer this were locked and no one ever got to hear about the opportunity, by all means report it. Timewave has already supplied one of the stories though.

On the other hand, point me to a single review that isn't in fact the promotion of something else? By nature that doesn't exist. This, on the other hand, is geared towards creating original content - and by original, I don't mean reviews of original content. So I see no conflict of interest. It's not as if I came on here and said 'look, you should all just go to TGWTG instead.'

Thanks for your sympathy.

Need I point out that 12 of 17 posts in this thread are by me?

Now that we're past that, I've expanded and defined the writing boards a bit more now.

As to the worry of this being against forum guidelines, I still respond with post #16.
