well... my bf does have some pictures of me of that nature.
For me its not been very easy to feel like I could be sexy. so some day I tried to take some pictures and that did indeed help my confidence. If I didnt like them I could allways delete them, but they turned out quite nicely (classy is certainly better than stupid pussyshots like on DA), so why not share with my boyfriend whom I trust and love for the times when Im not there?
[sub]my bf anyways tends to easily get a bit jealous and he would probably want to pierce out any guys eyes who gets a look at me like that[/sub]

I understand why people do it: similar reason to why people enjoy bdsm, I guess. Trust, intimacy, vulnerability, fun. Also they might get turned on doing it themselves.

I'd personally never do it, partially because because I'd have trouble trusting people like that, even if I were dating them. And also because I think I'm mostly gross below the neck. But whatever.

Well, I'm one of those people who think "If anyone wants to see me naked they're gonna have to do it live."

I hate having pictures of me taken in any case.

OT: There's a reason why I don't trust people. It's because they destroy that trust for things as simple as borrowing a pencil (and not returning it, or snapping it in half), so why would I trust them with something more serious?

Also, this is about a league of legends game? SERIOUSLY? Jesus Christ dude, grow the fuck up! "Waahhh she used a cheap character, im gunna be an asshole now, waahhh".

Obviously after that, it only seemed to matter if people saw me naked and were going to freak out about it, and/or try to blame me for it. For instance I am frequently naked around the house even in the back yard. But, we have a 6ft high cinder-block wall. You cant see me unless you look in a window or look over a wall, and as I said before; at that point it's your own damn fault.
While i agree with this sentiment, the law however does not. if i were to walk by with a kid, look though a window and see you naked, i could call the caops for "significantly disturbimg me" and win the case. because apperently your showing off while inside your house. silly i know, and i fought this law for a while too but apperently most people seem to agree with it -.-

People trust each other, especially those close to them. I for example have credit card details and house keys of several of my relatives; the assumption being that I'm trustworthy enough not to abuse that knowledge or lose the keys.

Sometimes people you trust are ones you shouldn't, or things go sour, but most people aren't scumbags like that LoL guy.

I personally wouldn't care about pictures, I don't even care about non-erotic family photos or anything. Some of the clothes of my significant other, though, and their smell? Yes.

As difficult as it may be, I will try my best to not send your friends naked pictures. :D
Awwww....Wait, that sounds creepy. Err, I mean....

It wouldn't be hard. You should see my friends.

Well, as you said it's about intimacy and trust.

I mean, come on, you know exactly why people send those kinds of photographs.

Anyone who sends those kinds of photos trusts that the other person won't pass them on.
People do it because it's a bit of fun, it's a turn-on for a lot of people and, as I said, they assume that it will remain private. When it comes to sex and/or relationships, people aren't notorious for their rationality.

You can call it naive and stupid and maybe it is but I'd be more inclined to blame the person who violated that trust.
If they violated that trust because they used an overpowered character in League of Legends, I get the one who took pictures of themselves probably invested in that trust about five or six months too early.

OT: I'd never do it. I have enough generally embarrassing pictures of me uploaded online already, and now I hate having my picture taken in general.

Also, due to multiple hangups I have about sex, if my girlfriend sent me pictures, rifts would open really quickly. :D

I actually have no idea why they do it. But if they want to, they should be allowed to. I don't understand a LOT about what goes on in the world. Other people's behavior doesn't have to be understood by me for it to be acceptable to them. Trying to understand why people do certain things is often pointless. As long as it doesn't hurt me or others around me, I don't care what people do in their spare time. If they want to get naked and film it... well, that's their business. Not mine.

And anyone who posts naked pictures or videos of someone without their consent should probably go to jail. For at least a year or two. They're bad people and society can do without bad people.

This. Pretty much all of this.

Taking naked photos is fun. It's a huge turn-on (and compliment) for pretty much everyone involved. Plus, it is sometimes nice to have a little memento of a particularly hot or eventful evening.

As far as them getting out... well, sometimes that happens. It is a risk with naked photos (the risk is part of what makes them exciting and sexy).

I have lost control of naked photos of myself only once. My computer broke down and I went to a local computer repair store to get it fixed at least enough to get my data off the hard drive. The local place did the work... and then gave me a huge discount on the work. While the guy was recovering my data, he pulled up my archive of naked photos of myself and others, which I'd forgotten was on the computer. His logic was that he "paid" for the photos with the discount. So... yeah, that was pretty embarrassing. Fortunately, he had no desire to share them with anyone else.

So anyway, the risk is what makes them fun. No one enjoys losing their car/house/life savings in Los Vegas either, but that lingering risk is one thing that makes gambling fun.

This is the part I don't get. How is it a "compliment"? I mean, after a person already has seen me naked, and all. Maybe it's a memory thing, for example, me and my ex have broken up two years ago and several instances of her being naked and in naughty poses are right here in my head. "I want to see you naked", I don't know how that's a compliment.

So anyway, the risk is what makes them fun. No one enjoys losing their car/house/life savings in Los Vegas either, but that lingering risk is one thing that makes gambling fun.
Second bit is, I don't think people seeing me naked is a "bad" and "undesirable" thing. So even if there were naked pics of me, if they got out there my reaction would likely be "Big deal, like nobody's seen a naked guy before". Plenty of people have even seen this particular guy naked. So I don't see what "risks" are involved at all. I might be lucky to be relatively good-looking even if I spend zero time on doing more than basic maintenance, but I'm not ashamed of my body, and don't see why I should feel bad about people seeing it.

So yeah. All I can conclude here is, I seem to be on an entirely different frequency here.

And I still hate having my pictures taken, because I never manage to make a decent face for them. And as I said, if someone wants to see me naked they're welcome to, but they won't get a pic of it, they'll have to find me-me.

Also, you're joking about the avatar comment, right? Haha it's the witch icon from l4d >.<
Actually I figured it was a cosplay. Probably because one of the photoshoots I shot was an erotic cosplay of the Witch, so I'm sort of just used to thinking of her as sexy.

I agree with you 100 percent. Hell its helped my fatso self feel better about himself when I share pictures of myself. It's hard to have been 150lb most his life and then balloon up to 290lb when you hit thirty.

Also in regards to your story about the hard drive. I had something similar happen when I had my external that held all my photography getting hit by a falling shelf and then entering failure. Only difference was they asked if I knew the girl in the photos and if he could get her number. When I told him it was my fiancee his heart sank, but he is now a regular member on her website so that worked out.

I don't understand it either.

Sure, it can be sexy... but surely the risk of it being made public outweighs the sexiness.
That's no way to live, man.
It's sexy, and when your mind starts coming with buts and ifs, just shut the damn thing off and be sexy, damn it!

Naked pictures: why take them?
Because I'm a sexy ************?

Seriously, nothing to worry about, just giving people a chance to not see my ugly mug (that means face) [http://sonofodin86.tumblr.com/post/63454113138]

Seriously though, I don't understand why people get embarrassed by photos of themselves naked. People who post "revenge porn" are utter cunts, horrible, vile little shits (Personally I burned every nude photo I had of my girlfriends when we broke up when I was younger, I was a bit of an emo fuck in my teenage years - nowadays it's all digital, deleting photos just doesn't have the same ring to it), but really, the victim (once they're done battering the **** who violated their privacy like that) should just be able to stand up and say "Yes, I had a sexy phase, what of it?".

As for me? People can see me naked any time they want, I've got nothing to hide - beer gut, small cock, some awesome tattoos, some shit tattoos. Who the fuck cares?

That's pretty much a "/thread" right there.

Some people get turned on by that sort of thing. Also, I know this is crazy but people in a relationship should trust each other. Unfortunately most people are assholes.

Well there's your first sign he was a nutter. No Hero in LoL is OP. That's just not possible, Riot nerf everything into oblivion.

OT: I've had pictures of "me" appear on the internet. I was miffed about it to be sure. At least this girl knows who to smack into oblivion.

It's just a nice way for a couple to feel intimate during the time when they're apart.

When I was with my ex, I stored her pics securely in an SD card I kept on my person, and deleted them out of respect after we broke up.

Vanity and lust.

And I don't know why people take nudies - it kind of goes the same of what you write. If you don't want someone else reading it, don't write it down. Although I suppose pictures are a lot more harmful than a misplaced diary post.....
