If you would have been thinking correctly, you would have noticed that everyone posted equipment for zombie apocalypse.

If you would have THOUGHT about it it doesn't matter they could still use it in any appocalypse. Plus what they list and you think doesn't make it right.

How exactly shotguns, swords and knives would help in, like, nuclear ap(pppppp?)ocalypse, or any non-zombie apocalypse?

Plus I am pretty sure that if someone was on low supplies that would use whatever they said as a weapon to take stuff from or kill other survivors for their equipment / supplies. Also, i was thinking about more realistic kind of nuclear apocalypse - no mutants to shoot. And i don't really think that whole society would instantly turn into animals, but try to form a large group again - even paleolithic people stayed together.

It makes stealing things, say food or shelter, a whole lot easier. And it makes it a whole lot harder to steal from you.
