I've never heard either of them. Not to mention, I've played ALL L4D2 campaigns and I don't remember that one.Gralian said:It's also a rip off of a L4D2 campaign and i believe it was a show here in England about a big brother cast having to fend off zombies. The Amazing Tea Alligator said:Ooooo, I like this one.SextusMaximus said:Dead Set.
Because it's specifically linear, and about zombies.
most people have something to do with zombies or the word "dead" in the title they suggest. I recommend you pick something with neither of these. Go with something closer to "7 sleepless nights"(depending on how long the game is) or something epic like the name of your character(though that would only work if you tried to make some sort of emotional attachment or story behind the scenes).lasherman said:SNIP
My apologies, i got it confused with Dead Center.SextusMaximus said:I've never heard either of them. Put up or shut up.Cpt Tripps 2012 said:well, judging from the picture I'd call it: "Doesn't really matter what the title is cause I should be focused on making my game not look like crap".
Dumb AI is the foundation of stealth games. Ever played MGS or Splinter Cell? Every single enemy in that is an idiot.Applejack said:Dodge the Dead is really good considering it's a stealth game. But a stealth game where the enemies are zombies? Dumb AI in a stealth game might not work unless they have good hearing.Commander Jack Rankin said:I can think of two, but both kinda suck. Here you go anyhow:
Dodge The Dead
Zombie Scavenger Hunt
Do you have a specific style you're going with? Zombies range from dark to cutesy, realistic/fantasy, whatever. I don't know, maybe a few more details would be helpful. I'll definitely think about it though.lasherman said:I'm working on a short game and I'm at a complete loss for a title. Since I am willing to bet that everyone on this site has at least been near a videogame once in their life, I figured someone on here might have an idea for a name for my game.
It's basically a linear zombie game set in an unspecified city. The goal is to get different supplies from different buildings while avoiding the zombies. Combat is very difficult and enemies can one-hit-kill you, so it's much easier to evade them than it is fight them.
So if anyone can help me come up with a name it will be a big help!
I'm adding a screenshot of the first level. Due to very annoying technical difficulties, everything is currently untextured, meaning it's all a basic grey colour, but the final project is fully textured.

I think DeadEx (perhaps DedEx) is the best so far. Maybe The High Cost of Dying? Or Death Tax, since you're essentially going from building to building collecting stuff from dead people.viranimus said:Go with ZPS as in Zombie postal service, or UPS Undead postal service and totally go with the courier motif in logos
Or you could go the route of DeadEx the same way.
Though Im sure you would have to make sufficent tweaks in order to bypass obvious copywrite infringments if you ever intend to make money from it.
