Agreed, Aliens was the best one in my opinion.

I preferred Alien Versus Predator 2 (film) as well ( that's not saying much though). Also the game was way better than the one before.

Oh, and Terminator 2 was better than the first.

'The Mummy Returns' was better than 'The Mummy' in my opinion.

I didn't say Team Fortress 2 because I never played the original so I didn't know which was better. TF2 FTW

EDIT: And by the way, I have Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 4 in there bcause they do count, because they are sequels. You can't say "sequels to anything... but not really."

They were both written and directed by Guillermo del Toro, starring the same characters in the same world setting. I don't get how that's not a direct sequel.

The fourth title: .Hack//Quarantine was just as great but it was outbreak that made the most changes

Evil dead 2 still one of my top 10 ever.

Without doubt. Pure horror comedy gold. Bruce Cambell is a legend and Bubba Ho Tep was horribly underrated.

Most of the later Sharpe novels were better than the original (though I`ve only read about a third of the series)
Star Trek 2 was better than Star Trek: The Motion Picture
It`s debatable, but I still say Kill Bill 2 was better (though it did lack the great fight scene against the crazy 88)
Dr. No was good, but alot of Connery`s later Bond films were better
Angels and Demons sucked less than the DaVinci Code (movies, Dan Brown books are all identical, only with different names and settings)
