One can also determine to a point when in terms of storyline the picture was taken, judging by the characters involved.
I could go on further about Kuromimi's position in the formation, but I'll leave that for another time.

It surprised me too. Suikoden is a classic, though I admit the first one is kinda sucky in comparison to how solid the second and fifth ones are.
