It's not even March yet. What's the point of choosing the game of the year when you've only played a fraction of them? Maybe you should try this again in, say, 8 or 9ish months?
I've said that you can choose any game you are excited about and view as a must have title up until May.
And I still say it's pointless to have a Game of the Year thread in February. Stop being an easily lead automaton and just buy the games you want rather than letting the opinions of others sway your decision. You'll find they're usually wrong.
Why do you think I'm asking several people? I'm trying to gather a larger amount of data rather than relying on individuals. Some people here are posting games they've already played and enjoyed, others are posting games that look like they'll be good. However, I'm not buying solely based on their opinions, I'm just using the information to look at which games I should be paying more attention to. Once I follow the game, I start to judge what I see as strengths and weaknesses against other games on my list of followed games as well as play the demos and make a choice from them. Hopefully, this will make things easier on me since I don't have the cash to buy all the games I want as per your suggestion (total cost of games up until the end of March would be $480-500 if I decided to buy every one on my list).
