Name the worst time or place to be an Assassin (from the AC series)

We've all seen what people think would be the coolest time to be one of Assassins Creeds Assassins, but what would be the worst? Whether it be because of peace time, architecture, or technology; think what would be the worst/stupidest time or place to be one.

For me I would think either America in the 1800's, in the Midwest; since it would be so boring. Or possibly in modern times, since the idea behind blades would be replaced by long range firearms.

Worst place in my opinion is Australia in any time period because it's boring in the past and nothing big has ever happened or will happen that would make it good enough for an Assassin's Creed game... or any game. Take it from an Australian, Australia is boring.

Worst time? Tough. Probably modern times, right now, considering forensics and all that business. Makes the job of an Assassin harder and harder.

Worst place? Well, I'd suppose the most difficult would be in their own home with a few close friends or family members. That would most likely make an Assassin's job the most difficult.
