In the original game, Altair and all other assassins could only wear a white hoods. This is also true for Ezio if you wish to get the best armor in the game, as you are unable to dye it.

Worst place would probably be Britain during the Black-Plague era. Can't get too close to your targets or else you'll get sick, and since the plague would kill your target before you do, you'd never get paid.

This day and age. Mainly because now, if someone knowns they're going to be killed, chances are, they'll be packing some fully auto weapon, as well as being surrounded by people who also have fully auto weapons.

Let's see, hidden blades and swords versus several P90s/G36cs and so on, the poor guy would be shit out of luck.

Had that, as well as the unbreakable pick and 100% sneak. Guard walked right up to me when I was crouching next to the bed, about to kill a guy. To this day I am baffled by how this happened.

Had that, as well as the unbreakable pick and 100% sneak. Guard walked right up to me when I was crouching next to the bed, about to kill a guy. To this day I am baffled by how this happened.

Strange, I (recently) played through the whole Dark Brotherhood thing (again), with only 8 sneak, and it was only about half way I got a 50% cameoflage spell (I didn't even know there was an unbreakable picklock but I did have a spell for opening very hard locks), there was only one guard that ever caught me, when trying to get into the prison, I couldn't remember what I had to do so I tried pickpocketing him (with a very low security skill), the key I got from him didn't fit on any door I found either, until I found the right door, then I just loaded and could go further without him catching me. Then again, I was playing on the easiest possible difficulty.

Feudal Japan..................That is actually one of the coolest ideas I have heard for an Assassins Creed game. They could bring back the countryside and not make it boring, throw historical accuracy out the window and put the Great Wall of China in there so we can climb it.

'Altair's armour' in AC2 is actually black. Also in AC2 none of the Assassin's wear white hoods. I guess it's for the best, that way they can remain 'hidden in plain site'.
