Half-Life 2

Make ally NPCs walk-through-able, the amount of times I've tried to get to safety/ammo cache/etc. and they've gotten in the way, it's fucking annoying.

What is WRONG with you? How could you not like Morrowind?
Unless, of course, you're trolling. I suppose I'll find out when(if?) you reply.
no, i am genuinely the only person in the world who didn't like morrowind. i loved oblivion but morrowind drove me insane

the combat was hopelessly broken, unless you either wrote down where your next mission was or did all of the missions in a row, if you forgot where you were supposed to go it was impossible to find your way back

menu driven interface

it took forever to get anywhere in the beginning of the game because you walk soooooooooo slowly

in fact, doing anything takes forever... i just didn't like it

Yu-Gi-Oh!: The fact that the card producers treat the public as an idiot/rich person dichotomy by releasing the 'popular' anime cards as worthless, unplayable junk and the hidden gems as super-expensive rarities that 'normal' people would overlook.

Also the insanely complex rulings that tend to differ for EACH card as opposed to being universal
.
my main complaint is that they continually outlaw old cards for being overpowered, than release new even more overpowered cards, like how monster reborn is now "too powerful" yet they have a card that is not limited aside from the 3 per deck rule with 2,500 attack, where if you have no monsters on your side of the field and your opponent does than it may be special summoned allowing you both that special summon plus a normal summon.... just retardedly overpowered. yet somehow bringing one monster back from the grave is worse? lolwut?

Heavy Rain

Jason.

Red Dead Redemption

If you die you continue from the last save... It drives me crazy when trying to hunt, you'll kill cougars the whole day, then one of them sneaks behind you and kill you... All new items lost, all challenges, everything acquired after the last save.

Aliens.

Haha. I actually enjoy walking in the ashlands (cliff racers and all). Every time I go in, i find a new dungeon.

OT:

Games that have guns in them -

Whenever there are guns in a game, the devs always get the reloading animation wrong. Be it cycling the bolt when there is an unfired round in the chamber or the slide locking back in a semi-auto pistol before firing the last round... game developers are just unfamiliar with how firearms work.

MGS. In the original MGS Snake has blonde hair. If you watch the debriefing the colonel says you got a haircut or something like that because he didn't want to look like liquid because low and behold they are twins. If i ruined the series for you then eat me lol. Its been out for 12 years you'll live lol. Then after that he just has brown hair always. wtf?
Blame it on the FOXDIE virus...
No. Even in MGS3 Boss had Brown hair. He was supposed to be blonde. Blonde Hair Blue eyes.
I was being a little tongue in cheek, but I completely agree with you. You'd think Hideo Kojima could've spent a couple minutes out of the 357 hours of dialogue to explain it.

Red Dead Redemption: Minor thing, but why can't we perform actual train robberies? The only way to do it is to kill everyone on board, why can't we hold them up the same way we do any other NPC?

Guitar Hero: Oh man, I used to love this series. What happened? It was all good up until World Tour, where I payed $50 for a total of three or four legitimately good songs. The rest were either boring or not my sort of music. Then there's the obvious fact that Activision is milking the franchise dry. I'll stick with Rock Band from now on.

Half-Life Series:

--Long waits between sequels are killing my intrest in the story of Gordon Freeman. As compelling as the whole saga of the Combine is, one 6 hour installment every couple of years feels a little thin compared to what other series give us. Yeah, I know, quality over quantity, but where's the product, Valve?

Mass Effect Series:

--Overused, hokey terminology in the story (Citadel? Hunters? both had been used in games at least twice before, and "Reapers" sounds like something out of Marvel Comics). Also, McGuffins abound.
--Failure to strike a ballance between trad. RPG and stripped down actioner, esp. with regard to the much bemoaned inventory system--though PLEASE don't just bring back the original.
--The lack of connectivity alluded to by Yahtzee. Hub areas still just feels like a bunch of hallway-linked spaces with no little feeling of connection to the world or surrounding universe. Had you been able to drive across Tuchanka, it might have felt bigger, but there's the lack of a vehicle mechanic taking its toll.
--That said, there is much about ME that people ***** about, but I think is just fine.

Fallout:

--Ugly character models

Dead Space:

--Wooden dialogue and hokey back story.

Final Fantasy X. Half of the cast were the equivalent of cereal mascots in depth and how interesting they were

Ratchet and Clank series: I want it to end. Please? I adore the games, I have every single one of them but please Insomniac Games, let it be! All the games are the same! Granted you tried something different with Ratchet Gladiator which was a fail, but all the games are the same! Crazy weapons that get more insane and ridiculous with every upgrade, one badguy that has some connection to Ratchet or Clank or a previous game which he defeats but some sort of cliffhanger is left at the end. It works so damn well, it makes the games amazing!! But after.. what is it, 6 games now? Its time to let it be! Don't let it become a game everyone says "sigh, not another one" when the name is mentioned

Most Final Fantasy games (at least, the ones that aren't Crisis Core) get stupidly difficult at random intervals. Fortunately, the difficulty sort of levels off once you grind for an hour or so.
Also, Sora hasn't really developed much as a character yet in Kingdom Hearts. Also, he's sorta... girly.

Everyone says this, but no matter how hard I try, playing Morrowind is like banging my head against a brick wall. There are parts I like, but the game is just so user unfriendly.
