Unskippable Tutorials in the Mario RPG/Paper Mario spinoffs. Particularly when they do the Zelda trick of asking something to the effect of 'Do You Understand?' at the end of it, with the default option being no, which leads to a repeat. Look, we have instruction manuals and you could always create an in-game guide booklet or something. Stop wasting my time showing me how to jump and hammer.

On a lesser note, the repeated pattern of 'The Final Boss is invulnerable until a certain plot event happens', which I believe Final Fantasy 4 started. Cool and dramatic the first few times, but SPM did it twice in a row. Just don't do it every single time.

NCAA 11- I don't know why, but it just isn't as addictive as '10 and '07 were, despite having honed the run game to damn near a science.

Also, sports games in general: Higher difficulty should mean better enemy AI, it should not mean the differences in player stats get kicked into overdrive so anyone fulfilling the fantasy of their favorite team (like, say, the Army Black Knights) doing well is literally helpless against another team due to their having a good program in reality and therefore getting better talent. I don't mind getting shat on, it makes the victories that much sweeter later, but when my O-line holds up literally long enough for me to take the snap as soon as I jack up the difficulty, you effectively have just confirmed that even in a video game, the good teams will continue to be good, and the shit teams will stay shit.

Morrowind... um...
The Ashlands are fucking boring. There, a complaint. It's possible.
Haha. I actually enjoy walking in the ashlands (cliff racers and all). Every time I go in, i find a new dungeon.
Well yeah, it's fun and all, but it's so DULL.
And cliff racers are the other downside, I guess. Not that they're annoying or hard, but their descent AI is just horribly broken. Tamriel Rebuilt did flying enemies much better.

(Google that if you play Morrowind, it's the best mod EVER. And I'm currently applying to join :D)
I have never heard of that. Thanks for the tip.

Yu-Gi-Oh!: The fact that the card producers treat the public as an idiot/rich person dichotomy by releasing the 'popular' anime cards as worthless, unplayable junk and the hidden gems as super-expensive rarities that 'normal' people would overlook.

Also the insanely complex rulings that tend to differ for EACH card as opposed to being universal
.
my main complaint is that they continually outlaw old cards for being overpowered, than release new even more overpowered cards, like how monster reborn is now "too powerful" yet they have a card that is not limited aside from the 3 per deck rule with 2,500 attack, where if you have no monsters on your side of the field and your opponent does than it may be special summoned allowing you both that special summon plus a normal summon.... just retardedly overpowered. yet somehow bringing one monster back from the grave is worse? lolwut?
Isn't that Cyber Dragon? It's got 2100 ATK and limited to 2 per deck.

Borderlands. (PC)
Improve the online play! Gamespy is incredibly slow and outdated, and you can barely find any servers which are at your appropriate level and don't have people using cheats.

I wish there was a better prize for collecting all of the gold skulltulas in Ocarina of Time. Also, I would have liked it if they squeezed in a few more colossi in Shadow of the Colossus.

Hoho, you haven't played it recently then. Stuff like Slate Warrior and Cyber Dragon are useless now.

Blazblue, because my friend isn't skilled enough to beat me, he complains that the character I use is OP, so I switch to the character he's using and still kick his ass, it's hilarious...why do I hate it again?
Haha who do you use?
Taokaka, Nu, Ragna, Bang...

to a lesser extent, rachel, noel, and jin.

My main character is Tao though...
Nice. Hit me up sometime and we'll play. I use Ragna, Tager and Hazama and I'm trying to learn Mu.

SimCity 4. My only gripe is that its lack of availability, which is sad because that game was just plain awsome. (I realize not many share my opinions on SC4. That is probably because I've got some crazyness in regards to creating/stabalizing complex systems.)

see that's exactly what im talking about slate warrior used to be a badass lol now they come out with ridiculously overpowered cards, yet stuff like monster reborn is somehow not allowed? wth? i mean compared to 2002 my deck is badass but now it's pathetic cuz of all the new cards they've come out with that have kinda completely unbalanced the game

Any game that has loot but sooner or later makes you look for something that's usually so common but at the time that you need it IT'S COMPLETELY UNSEEN THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE.

Last game I can remember that suffered from this was probably Red Dead Redemption... when you have to collect flowers or hunt animals.
