I don't know if you have heard of it before, but this is a really good game where you can create your own nation and that depending on your decisions it changes.
Mine is Hostania, and at the moments is a Moralistic Democracy. What's yours?

I made one ages ago, but I can't remember anything about it. I might try again in a while, assuming it lets you use the same email twice.

I think you can retrieve old accounts with the password if you still got it...

If anyone here gets the opportunity to read Jennifer Government, I highly recommend it. An interesting look at what happens if the free market and privatisation run rampant.

Tried it, liked Cyber Nations better, tried NS 2, was terribad. The book it was based on, Jennifer Government is about 100x better than the crap that is the game.

Sorry, OP, I don't RP, I just hang out in General. The people there are very intelligent, and I learned a lot of debating/political concepts there.

Is this game worth looking at? How different is it from other "run your own state" games, with which I've had very bad experience in the past? Could you elaborate on that first post, maybe?

OT: I have heard of it actually. For those that are interested, there is a Nation states region that is populated by mostly Escapists. I think it is called Escapia if I remember correctly.

The easiest way I can describe it is that it's basically a stripped-down SimCity. You create a nation with its own title/flag/motto/etc., and the rest of the game is spent deciding on daily political issues that change your nation's description. And that's basically it. There's really no tangible effect of your decisions other than text changes to your nation's profile.

However, the forum community is where the real action is at, where you basically roleplay with other people, similarly like in D&D. You can participate in a mock UN-assembly, conduct trade with other nations, participate in wars, etc.

But like I said before, I'm just there for the General sub-forum. I don't even bother playing the game anymore, I just like the community.
