Best news headline of the year so far and even better that its true

http://www.torquayheraldexpress.co.uk/Nazi-cows-tried-kill-staff-says-Devon-farmer/story-25806786-detail/story.html

Anyone else seen any down right odd headlines with true stories attached

Anyone think they would spice up farm simulator or nazi cow v goat as a game?

I saw a headline saying "THE UN BOMBS THE SMURFS."

It was a reference to a fundraising TV ad.

Bad, tasteless joke incomming. Given the number of eastern europeans who work on farms in the UK, perhaps the cows were still acting on Hitlers orders genetically imprinted into them. Someone needs to tell the cows the war ended years ago.

Or maybe that was the plan all along. The Nazis failed with the battle of Britain, the next logical step is to send over SS livestock to undermine us and take us down from within!

Taxi!

As amusing as that headline is, I had trouble reading that article. It was written so poorly that I can't believe it was published. It repeated itself constantly, like it was authored by half a dozen different people. Gah, it was distracting.

Sorry, that's the English major talking. Funny stuff.

I doubt I'll ever see any news headline more funny than this classic:

From what I gathered the man survived it by the way. Makes me feel a little less bad for laughing at it.

I saw a headline once which read, "Gnaw Blimey! Mutant rats will munch your house". The sub-header read, "16-inch hell beast terrorises family".

Another good one was a front page header in The Times: "Lib Dems 'Are Pointless'".

If it had come out last year, I would have believed that it was merely marketing for the South Park: Stick of Truth game

But it didn't so...

Has cow science gone too far?

Wait, the Nazi cows revealed themselves?

They were supposed to stay undercover for at least two more months!

Between this, the shadow-clone gophers going on strike and our giant robot crabs turning out to be defective the Great Plan is going to pieces all over the place!!

Uh, I mean how very interesting. If you'll pardon me I have some, uhhh-- *things* --- to attend to.

That's totally hilarious, but the article is fucking atrocious and full of awful science reporting.

I've never met a farmer that I liked (I've met a surprising amount of farmers. It must be a Westcountry thing), so I don't blame them.
