I've survived 8 near death experiences, and all of them were medical in nature. I have this medical condition (for those of you who are interested it's called pan-hypopituitarism i think) and because of it i would occasionally go into adisonian crisis, which basically means i go to bed one night and i dont wake up the next morning. The only recollection i have of these instances is waking up in the hospital the following afternoon and being told i was almost dead.

Nearly burned to death.

I was 6 years old and my friends father had a bonfire, he dropped the whole can of gasoline or whatever he used to keep the fire going and i was too close.

Landed on my back and was half unconscious in what i heard later was literarily a ring of fire, my friends dad ran in quickly and got me out just as my right hand and jacket started to catch fire, managed to put me out.

My jacket had melted onto my arms, my eyebrows and eyelashes were gone.

The next days i was in pain but in the end i came out of it WITHOUT a scratch.
I got no marks on my right hand and perfect eyebrows.

My dad was pissed at my friends dad, scolded him like hell.
It was truly like something out of a movie.

Ive had 3 that I can think of.

1st was when I was really little like 2-ish, my brother had me in the stroller and I got up to look over the railing of a bridge and fell in to the river, my brother dived in after me and saved me.

2nd I was riding my bike to school and in my town theres a crossing guard for the main highway where that street goes across, he was in the center so cars were suppose to stop. I'm mostly across when a car speed through and hits my back tire.

3rd was in 8th grade and I got an infection on my food. My parents dismissed it as nothing and assumed it would go away in a few days. Only a few days later (about 3 I think) everything below my shin was black and felt like a permanent case of the most extreme pins & needles ever. Finally deciding to take me to the ER we discovered that if it had gone up to my knee I would've lost the foot and if up to the waist it would've poisoned my bladder and killed me

When I was 7 on holiday in Barcelona, I fell into the pool after dark. Nobody was around and I just remember bobbing in the water scared shitless, luckily my mum had come looking and got me out.

Also Christmas 2 years ago, was home from uni, visiting some friends. Getting a lift home, icy roads, the driver tried showing off for my then-girlfriend by dicking about with the steering wheel, lost control and smashed into a stone wall, I was in the passanger seat with no belt on, it's such a strange feeling but time did honestly slow down as I tried to keep my head away from the window. 2 inches further down the wall and I'd have ended up splattered across a lamppost
