Everything you hear people gripe about are just that. Gripes.

if you dont like the time, dont do the missions. The game doesnt end. You can still run around and have a blast without doing the missions.
And he controls are perfictly fine. I never had a problem with them. Infact, i almost enjoyed the simplicity of them.
so wait, if i take no missions its just free mode?
:/ yeah. If you fail a mission, a screem pops up and says, "GAME OVER MAN!!!" and then it gives you the options "Load last save, Restart story, Continue playing, Quit"

You can just click continue playing and dicking around. Thats what i did all day the first day i had it rented.

... FUCK YEAH! sounds great then. umm the other problem was the bosses... the phyco survivors? the word is the controls are not suited to fight them and that they are insanely hard to beat... not in a good way though.

Theyer completely avoidable xD
You can litterally run off and do something else and the event theyer tied to will end in 20 minutes.
Plus theyer easy. I beat most of them without losing 2 bars of health. The key is to make a "Painkiller" drink in the blenders. They do like 1/4th theyer normal damage, and most combo weapons completely wreck them.

Nope. 360. but i played it over my friend's the other day on his PS3 and the controls were identical.

I'll give you alittle help. Combine a Sledge hammer and a fire axe. You'll get one of the few weapons you ever need xD

Yeah, good luck with that. When you find the holy grail, let us know.
now hold on, this is not unreasonable. the developers are working for us remember? come on, if we want a good game we got to show that we would buy it. they wont take risks so if we can make them understand that that would sell billions then they would make it.
No, the developers work to put cash in their pocket, you egocentristical person. First of all, it's hard for a big name game to sell billions, and yes, what you are asking for is unrealistic.

And even if it weren't, there's Dead Rising 2 that pretty much meets most of your demands and you are saying no to it because you don't like a few things? Really? You go ditch Hundreds of millions of dollars to make yourself a game then, after all, developers work for you.
ok, this is going to sound crazy but... they make money when people buy the game... people buy the game when they like it... so a good game is good for every one.
That's why I called you egocentristical, from what I'm seeing you just want Grand Theft Auto but with zombies and boss fights. It does sound good, but not groundbreaking.

but i'm not the only one, you yourself said this sounded awesome... my ENTIRE friends list thinks this is the makings of a awesome game and even people who i dont get along with agree...

Accually

The game doesnt end after the accual 72 hours. Chances are your first day playing you wont even make it to the 3rd day. Your characters level does make a bit of a differance in this game.

This is a tough one the only thing I can think of is the zombie island of dr Ned add on for borderlands plus you can play it twice since the game makes the enmies tougher on your seconed playthrew

Honestly, you'd have to mix games together. Dead Rising 2 looks good, but lacks some of the other things you want. The first game requires some timed quests and boss fights to get the full experience, working on getting my hands on DR2 so can't speak for it

L4D 1&2 are both a little linear, but multiplayer is supposed to be fun, however, you have a PS3 and no gaming PC so you can't get them. Nor do you seem willing to branch out into the possibilty of Microsoft. If you really wanted you can find a cheap X360 for some good exclusives, but honestly, get a game comp. Steam is worth getting on it also, and if you wait long enough you can find some good games are great prices w/ free DLC.

PS3 zombie games, only thing I can think of is Burn Zombie burn from PSN store, but it's a small map with your basic assortment of weapons, the big twist is using flaming zombies as multipliers when you kill others. Unless you're willing to branch from Sony (which I do love, btw) you're going to be very limited on material to play to your specifications
