need a list of coop/multiplayer pc games

Me and the missus are looking for a game to play together, something that promotes working together as a team, anything will do, hopefully free games , she dislikes minecraft with a passion xD so lets stray from that area, I was thinking along the lines of castle crashers or spiral knights.

In general something that's quick and easy to grasp, we got two computers so p2p games are a big thumbs up , thanks for reading.

Ok, one I know is Atom Zombie Smasher. Cheap, fun indie game, available on Steam. Very, very fun.

The first 2 Serious Sam games are also fun, but only if she's into that.

both are generally amateur gaming rigs, and portal 2 is installed on one of em already

In that case, she'll love it. If your computer is good enough, and have money lying around, you can get the Serious Sam games on Steam. If you get the $40 version, you get the HD versions, and the originals. For 2 people, it would cost $80 though. You can probably find an old CD version of the originals for about $5, though. Enjoy.

Co-Optimus has lists for nearly every platform and is well worth checking out.

As for my recommendations, I'd say Killing Floor (fairly easy to pick up, hard to master), Left 4 Dead, and the aforementioned Serious Sam. If you have an Xbox 360 or two, there's a few good games on there like Army of Two and Gears of War (hate all you want, those games are fun as hell in co-op).

i'm no hater open to all games, except sport and wrestling xD

Oh. Ok. I recommend getting Serious Sam for xbox then. It includes the First and Second encounter, and great split-screen coop. Also, it's even cheaper. I got my copy for about $2. Should be compatible with the 360. Also, the Timesplitters games are great. Very, very fun.
